Marvel’s Evolution in the Past Six Years

After recently owning Avengers: Infinity War I decided to have a Marvel marathon, starting with The Avengers. It was kind of fascinating seeing the movies literally evolve and get better over the course of the years and it was so awesome in fact that I want to share my experience with you. Enjoy!

2012: The Avengers

When The Avengers came out six years ago I remember being blown away by how awesome the movie was. The fact that it brought all of these heroes together in such a cohesive way was marveling. Now when I watch it I get nostalgic seeing the beginning of these characters’ relationships and their involvement in this franchise. Iron Man, at that time, was the only character to have two solo movies but everyone else was just finding their footing.

The Battle of New York is still a blast to watch even after all of these years and it’s great movie.

My Mother’s Ranking of the ‘Star Wars’ Films

As you can probably tell from my blog I. Love. Star Wars! I’ve loved Star Wars ever since I was a baby girl and now, with Disney acquiring Lucasfilm, my love for the franchise has grown even more. And that has appeared to happen with my mother as well.

My mommy has never been an avid Star Wars fan. She knows about the movies but she has never really cared about the films or the characters…until recently. After The Force Awakens my mother has actually started to pay attention to these films and it’s kind of really awesome. So, today, I asked my mommy how she ranked the Star Wars films and I’m here to share her answer with you all. Enjoy!

1. The Force Awakens

My mommy isn’t a fan of going to the movie theaters because, in her words, it’s just an expensive nap but when we sent to see The Force Awakens for the first time my mommy enjoyed it so much that she was willing to watch it with us at the movie theaters again the very next day. Over the years my mother has watched the film numerous times and it has become her favorite Star Wars movie because it’s the only one she actually has seen all the way through more than once. She loves the characters, she loves the story, and it’s a good movie.
