It’s a busy month for next year’s biggest blockbusters as the studios start preparing us for 2019. And now after Marvel excited us with trailers for Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame it seems that Warner Bros. wants to get into the game by releasing a new trailer for its monstrous second installment in the Godzilla series. Here it is.
I watched Godzilla four years ago in the movie theaters. I didn’t enjoy it, which was a bummer considering that I was excited to see it. I was hoping that maybe this sequel would make me feel differently.
This trailer was compelling at first and for the most part, it’s a decent trailer with plenty of potentials but the trailer lost me after I saw actor Thomas Middleditch in the film. There’s nothing particularly wrong with him as an actor but I just can’t unsee him as the VERIZON guy. And because of that I probably will not go and watch this movie. It may turn out to be one of the greatest blockbusters of the year but because the VERIZON guy is in it…I just can’t do it.
How did you feel about this trailer? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day.
Nine weeks, ten episodes, and we have finally reached the midway conclusion of the first season of Star Wars: Resistance. The question is; was it worth it? Yes, and no.
This week’s episode Station Theta Black was exciting to a certain extent and yet it didn’t grab my attention as much as I would have hoped a Star Wars finale should. It featured Poe Dameron and Kazuda Xiono on a top-secret mission for the Resistance and while it did also include Captain Phasma into the story I just was a tad bit bored.
Maybe I’ve given up caring about this series ever since the dismal episode two weeks ago (The Platform Classic) but it just seemed that the episode was trying to be worthy of a finale rather than just being good.
I loved Poe Dameron’s involvement in the episode because, well, it’s Poe! but unfortunately, he wasn’t even able to make this a finale worth getting pumped about. It was so mediocre in fact that I don’t even care in which direction the series may take once it returns because I’m honestly not that interested.
Now, if the second portion of the series starts to feature Kylo Ren, General Hux, or maybe even Snoke into the mix then maybe I’ll finally start getting excited about this series. Until then my reaction to Star Wars: Resistance is meh.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day. May the Force be with you.
Disney released a new animated series focusing on some of the most iconic Star Wars characters and their most memorable moments and five more entries in the series have arrived. So, of course, I’m here to share them with you. Enjoy!
Chewie vs. Holochess-Let the Wookie Win
I liked this short but I didn’t love it. Chewbacca is, more than anything, a very nice character but if you’ve never watched Star Wars before this short makes it seem like he’s mean. I don’t know if I exactly that.
Chewie can have his moments but he’s nowhere near as ferocious as this short makes him seem.
