Another seven days have gone by and that means it’s time for another weekly Twitter poll. Today I’m straying from the topic of Star Wars and focusing on another, more pressing subject; the Avengers: Endgame trailer. The highly-anticipated teaser has already broken records, becoming the first film to ever get 289 million! views in a single day. And so, because it was such a hit last Friday I couldn’t help but make it the subject of my weekly Twitter poll. Here’s the tweet.
Feel free to help contribute to the conversation if you’d like. Of course, I can’t vote (because I made the poll) but if I could I would vote Kind of Excited. The trailer had its exciting moments but overall it was a lot less impressive than I’d imagine it to be.
And if you need to be reminded about the trailer here it is.
I thank you for reading (and potentially contributing) and I hope you have a beautiful day.
I love good movies. Good movies can turn a dreary day into a wonderful day. Good movies expand the mind and make you think. Good movies can change the way you perceive things or send an impactful message that you can retain for your own personal life. And good movies are just plain fun to watch. Mission: Impossible-Fallout is more than a good movie. It’s a GREAT movie. One of the best I’ve ever seen. And so imagine my excitement when I finally got to own it last Tuesday on Blu-Ray. I couldn’t wait to revisit all of my favorite scenes and be reminded why I love the movie so much. Since obtaining it a week ago I have watched it every evening because I just can’t seem to get enough of it. But most of the times when you get a movie the behind-the-scenes features are subpar and even, at times, highly underwhelming. Mission: Impossible-Fallout is the exact opposite!
This film is not only a blast to watch but the behind-the-scenes features are utterly phenomenal as well. In fact, I haven’t even tipped the iceberg of the featurettes yet, that’s how incredible.
The Blu-Ray I got was the Steelbook version which you can only find at Best Buy. It comes with three disks; one regular disc, a Blu-Ray disc which contains not only the film but three! different commentaries (have you ever heard of three commentaries for one movie?!) and there is, of course, a disc which consists of all of the behind-the-scenes featurettes. And, don’t forget, it comes with a Digital code as well so you can take this movie anywhere with you, whether you’re on a long flight or having a cross-country road trip.
I’ve gotten a lot of DVDs in my time and up to this point my favorite behind-the-scenes featurettes has belonged to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (those featurettes were AMAZING) and The Force Awakens (which is also incredible.) I never thought there would be another movie that could join these two films’ ranks in the Blu-Ray department but I’m very glad to say Mission: Impossible-Fallout did not disappoint in the slightest.
How would I rank this Blu-Ray? 100 out of a 100 and 5 out of 5 stars. It’s fantastic just like the movie and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed this film. It’s a definite must-have.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day.
With the trailer dropping for Avengers: Endgame last week the film’s imminent arrival truly feels concrete and while there wasn’t much to get excited about from the surprisingly underwhelming teaser it looks like teases for the film’s storyline can be found elsewhere; in the casting list.
SPOILER ALERT AHEAD! These new entries in the cast are heavy spoilers for the movie so if you’d rather stay in the dark I suggest you stop reading now. Thank you for heeding this warning. 🙂
