Shazam!, the latest installment in the DC Universe, is set to come out in a month and yet I still can’t decide whether I’m excited or horrified by this film. On one hand, it looks like it can be really cute and hilarious like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. And then there’s also the chance that it could be very silly and ridiculous. Here’s the film’s newest trailer.
While this trailer holds promise it also manages to fall flat at the same time…and I can’t exactly figure out why. Maybe it’s because Shazam doesn’t look that awesome, or lovable to be that honest. Or maybe it’s the villain who I don’t think looks that cool either if I’m being truthful.
And then there’s another side of me who enjoys the jokes, is impressed by the action, and finds it relatively intriguing. Honestly, I’m going to wait and see how I feel about the film after watching the trailer in IMAX because then I’ll know exactly what to think about this movie.
How do you feel about this latest trailer? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.
Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. What just happened? Remember weeks back when I was complaining about how boring Star Wars: Resistance is. *chuckle* Not anymore. This show has reached a level that is so riveting I’m eager to see next’s week episode. Seriously. It’s that good.
If you missed last week’s episode, The Disappeared, then let me give you a quick rundown on what happened.
The First Order has put The Colossus under their control, heightening security in ways they see fit and harassing anyone they feel like messing with. As the First Order’s iron grip became tighter they started making people they deemed nuisances disappear. That included Ace pilot Hype Fazon and Aunt Z, owner of Aunt Z’s tavern, along with a few other characters.
Finn sat on a crate in the crowded hangar alongside Rose. She was telling him stories of her childhood on Otomok and he was legitimately fascinated. His upbringing hadn’t been filled with as much adventure or childhood joys. He was raised as a stormtrooper and that meant his everyday activities were created to teach him the ability to kill.
Listening to Rose, he realized how good of a person she truly was. As her eyes twinkled when she told him of the beautiful creatures of her homeworld he found himself involuntarily smiling, mystified by her storytelling. She wasn’t able to finish the story however as she began to laugh hysterically during telling her comedic tale. He laughed with her and he realized that this was easily one of the best moments of his life.
She stopped laughing and looked at him. She suddenly averted her gaze but not before he saw her cheeks begin to redden.
