Comparing the Trailers for ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’

Infinity War and Endgame, the final two installments in the Avengers saga. Both of these films have my sent brain into a frenzy through many occasions and now after the recent release of the newest trailer for Endgame, I’m still reeling from the awesomeness of the trailer.

In fact, I loved watching it so much I decided to watch the trailer for Infinity War and Endgame in succession and low and behold I discovered that both trailers are more similar than one may realize at first glance.

So, on that note, here is my quick analysis of the two trailers. To refresh your memory here is the trailer first official trailer for Avengers: Infinity War.

This trailer is about as good it gets. I’ve seen this trailer at least thirty times and yet it seems to grow finer with age. After the trailer for Endgame, this trailer is almost chilling to watch and yet even more riveting because we know what happens.

It’s also just really, really epic. Continue reading Comparing the Trailers for ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’

Ranking 50 of the Top 250 Movies on IMDb: Part 5

The last part of this series has arrived and now the final countdown to my favorite movie of the Top 250 Films on IMDb begins. Enjoy!

9. Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is one of those intense action films that you watch and by the end of the movie you’ve got a slight headache because the movie was so intensely good. The Terminator was a great film but James Cameron returned with a whammy of a sequel that left everyone, including me and my sister, stunned.

This movie is off the chain!

8. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

The Empire Strikes Back isn’t my favorite Star Wars film (that spot still belongs to Rogue One) but it is, in essence, the greatest Star Wars movie ever made. A New Hope was regarded as a masterpiece but then George Lucas returned with a sequel so magnificent it blew the socks off of nearly everyone who saw it.

Now years later, it’s still looked to as the pinnacle of sequels and it should. This movie is amazing, from beginning to end.

My Version of The Last Jedi: Chapter Forty-Five

Power of the Darkness

Kylo Ren knew something was wrong as he, Rey, and Luke ran through the city. It was as if the city had been abandoned, for the Nameless were nowhere to be seen. The silence was almost deafening as they passed by the black spires that ominously reached toward the sky.

Luke could feel the disturbance as well but it was an odd feeling. It wasn’t the cold touch of the dark side but rather a subtle tingling in his spine that somehow felt more dangerous. There was something strange at work here.

Rey did not notice the warning signs in the Force because she didn’t care. To know that Snoke was responsible for her parents’ death left her roiling with strong emotions she needed to abate before they consumed her. All she wanted was to see Snoke die.

They entered the final spire that stood at the end of the walkway gazing down at them like a dark giant. Within the building, their pace slightly slowed. Each of their sabers ignited, painting the dark hallways in a brilliance of colors.

Which Character Are You Most Excited to See in ‘Avengers: Endgame’?

With the first official Avengers: Endgame trailer dropping on Thursday my world has flipped upside down with excitement for this movie. And I’m sure there are many other people who are just as ecstatic to see this film after the stellar trailer Marvel Studios released this week. So, naturally, for this week’s Who’s Your Favorite? Endgame is the topic of today. Enjoy!

Rocket

From the first moment, we were introduced to Rocket he had Groot by his side. Throughout the Guardians of the Galaxy films and Avengers: Infinity War Groot has always been there. So imagine how upset he must be. Rocket’s going to give Thanos something to think about.

(If I had any advice for Rocket, I would tell him to use that contraption he made that can blow up moons…if he hasn’t used it yet.)

Ant-Man

Ant-Man may seem like comedy relief but he may be the key to bringing the deceased superheroes back from the dead, making him clearly one of the most important characters in the film.
