Is the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer Teasing the Debut of a New Hawkeye?

Clint Barton has been MIA since we last saw him in Captain America: Civil War but he did get mentioned in Infinity War when Natasha said that both he and Scott Lang took deals to spend their sentences with their families.

In the recent trailer, we get to see a bit of that time we have missed with Clint displayed briefly and while it may seem like merely a harsh reminder of the tragedy Hawkeye has had to endure thanks to Thanos there may be more to this scene than meets the eye.

In the Marvel comics, there was Hawkeye/Clint Barton but there was also another person who went by that alias, a young woman named Kate Bishop.

Kate grew up idolizing Clint Barton, for he was her favorite Avenger, and when it was believed that he was dead she took up the mantle of Hawkeye and joined the Young Avengers.

Things in the MCU sometimes play out a little differently but we very well may be seeing a new Hawkeye in the works through Endgame. It makes total sense too. With the possibility of the Young Avengers on the horizon, these characters will start to appear.

We already have Shuri and Spider-Man and potentially Scott Lang’s daughter Cassie who seems ready to take up the role of a superhero in the future. With teenage characters like Ms. Marvel, Miles Morales, Squirrel Girl, and so many more the Young Avengers are bound to make their debut sooner rather than later.

Of course, this is just a theory of mine but I know Marvel. They don’t make things happen in their films without it leading to something later down the road. If this scene in the trailer is anything to go by a new Hawkeye is on the horizon and that is truly thrilling news.

What do you think about this theory? Would you like to see Clint Barton’s daughter become the new Hawkeye in the future? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Season 1 of ‘Star Wars: Resistance’ Ends With An Okay Finale

Since October of last year, I have followed the story of Star Wars: Resistance. I have been dragged through the wringer, with each week presenting new emotions that bordered on downright annoyed or absolutely exhilarated. And now, we have finally reached the conclusion of the first season.

Was it everything I had hoped for? No. Was it at least good? Yes. Does it make me excited for Season 2? Definitely. Here is the finale’s synopsis.

With Neeku’s help, Kaz comes up with a risky plan to rid the Colossus of the First Order once and for all.

This was said to be a shocking finale but really it wasn’t that shocking at all.

SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! Do not read any further if you don’t want to know what happens in the finale. Thank you for heeding my warning.

My Version of The Last Jedi: Chapter Forty-Six

The Imminent Showdowns

Captain Phasma charged Finn, her spear held low in preparation for his first attack. She had been patiently waiting to enact her revenge on the traitorous stormtrooper and now the moment had arrived.

As she threw all her weight against him and their weapons clashed she smiled. He was simply no match for her and he would learn this fact the hard way.

Rose knew Finn was in trouble as soon as the chrome trooper charged him. Being a woman, she understood what a deep and fierce anger from a furious woman looked like. This stormtrooper, whoever she was, hated Finn and nothing Finn could do would be able to stop her…unless Rose joined the fight.

Much to her surprise, Finn was handling himself surprisingly well against the trooper’s onslaught, blocking and evading her attacks with relative ease, and delivering several attacks of his own. Rose could see that the trooper was becoming frustrated, her assault upon Finn becoming more and more aggressive. Rose needed to do something, and quick.
