A Six-Year Poster Evolution: Doctor Strange

When I first heard of Doctor Strange I wasn’t very sure whether I was going to like him or not. I mean, a character named Doctor Strange? How could that possibly be cool? And then when I learned that Benedict Cumberbatch was playing the character my skepticism rose even higher. All of my misgivings were erased when I watched Doctor Strange and realized just how cool this superhero truly was. And after Infinity War, he has officially become my favorite Marvel superhero because he is really is that amazing.

So, because Doctor Strange is such an awesome character, it’s no surprise that his character posters are all pretty darn cool. So, on that note, let’s take a closer look at them.

Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange’s powers and his world contain mindbending visuals that leave one staring at the screen in wide-eyed awe and this poster is just a taste of what to expect in the film.

I love Benedict Cumberbatch on this poster. He truly does look heroic…and mystical. And the outfit, I mean, it’s just absolutely beautiful. He totally has the coolest superhero cape of all time.

Avengers: Infinity War

I remember when I saw Doctor Strange’s character poster for Infinity War for the first time. I couldn’t stop staring it because I was so freaking excited. And still, a year later, I gaze at it with happiness because it highlights the character in such a fun way.

Doctor Strange is practically humming with power and I love to see him flaunting his power on the poster in a humble fashion with his left hand glowing with destructive light. Plus the Eye of Agamotto is ready to be used, or in this case, taken. 😕

I love this poster so much. 😁

Avengers: Endgame

Just seeing this poster is making me very sad. Doctor Strange is like I said before, my favorite character in the MCU and to know that he was one of the unfortunate victims of the infamous snap is just… devastating. 😭

But the poster is still amazing for the simple fact that Doctor Strange is AWESOME. I can’t wait for him to be resurrected.

Tomorrow I will feature the posters for Falcon. So excited!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.
