A Six-Year Poster Evolution: Falcon

Yesterday’s character posters for this series focused on my favorite Marvel superhero Doctor Strange. It was fascinating looking at his various posters since Doctor Strange and now, today, it’s time to look at Falcon’s character posters since his debut in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Enjoy!

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is easily one of the best superhero movies ever made and one of the reasons why it is so magnificent is because of Falcon. His role in the film was exceptional and he instantly became one of the coolest characters in the MCU.

This poster is fun to look at because it shows how far he has come. At the time he was equipped with this rugged version of the Falcon exo-suit and wore nothing more than this grey shirt and camouflage pants. This was before he joined The Avengers and you can totally tell.

Captain America: Civil War

In Captain America: Civil War the character posters only showed the characters’ faces so while we don’t get to see Falcon’s suit we do get to see the awesome new shades. Falcon’s so cool.

Avengers: Infinity War

Falcon returns in Infinity War with a pose very similar to how he looked in The Winter Soldier. Only this time, his suit is much better. He, however, is a sporting a new look facially with the new beard, giving him a rugged appearance that clearly highlights the fact that he’s been a fugitive for the previous two years.

Avengers: Endgame

This poster is just…saddening. Falcon, with his downcast expression, is the raw image of defeat. Gosh, I can’t believe he died. Seeing these black and white posters is just a harsh reminder of the tragic ending of Infinity War.

So, these are the posters for today. The next character I will highlight on the series will be Nebula. Exciting!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.
