I Am So Excited for ‘The Mandalorian’!

The Mandalorian is the first live-action Star Wars series ever made and let me tell you, after watching the panel yesterday, seeing the leaked teaser trailer and behind-the-scenes footage, and looking at the images it’s pretty clear, I am SO PUMPED for this show.

It’s like a dream come true. I have always wanted to watch a Star Wars series in live-action and I thought it would never happen. With The Mandalorian dropping in November, I am just…ecstatic. This show is going to be so off the chain I just am at a loss of words. So, on that note, here are the latest photos for The Mandalorian.

Greef - The Mandalorian

Carl Weathers, who is known mostly for his iconic role in the Rocky films as Apollo Creed (and who is clearly one of my favorite actors of all time), is coming to another iconic franchise as a bounty hunter guild leader named Greef Carga. That sounds 100% awesome. To be the head of a guild of bounty hunters means you have to be one tough cookie and I can’t wait to see him in this show.

Another main character on the show is Gina Carano’s Cara Dune who is an ex-Rebel shock trooper. I’ve seen her in action in the leaked teaser and let me assure you, she’s undoubtedly going to be one of the coolest heroines in the franchise. I am straight up already in love with this character and I haven’t even fully seen her yet.

And finally, there’s the lead of the show, The Mandalorian himself played by yours truly, Pedro Pascal. I don’t care, I’m going to say it. Jango and Boba Fett are nowhere near as cool as The Mandalorian. His outfit is ridiculously amazing looking and his rifle, oh my goodness, it is hands down one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

The Mandalorian is going to be set five years after the Empire fell. Whether the story is actually good or not I don’t even care because the action presented in the leaked teaser and leaked behind-the-scenes footage looks AMAZING!

If you think you liked Rogue One or Solo this is going to be a definite must-watch.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day. May the Force be with you.

My Review of ‘Captain Marvel’

Avengers: Endgame is coming out in eleven days and with my recent viewing of Captain Marvel I can feel totally confident in knowing everything that is going on with the characters and their individual stories.

Captain Marvel has a 78% score on Rotten Tomatoes and after watching the film I now understand why. Captain Marvel is a tale of two halves. Simple as that. So, on that note, here is my analysis of the two halves of the film. Enjoy!

SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! I will be discussing everything that takes place in the film so if you haven’t seen it be warned, there are spoilers. Thank you for heeding my warning.

A Six-Year Poster Evolution: Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel is the newest hero to join the MCU and she is already set to play a large role in the franchise moving forward with the importance that she presents to the franchise. Now, she’s returning to fight alongside The Avengers in a showdown of the ages against Thanos but before we get to that let’s look at her posters.

Captain Marvel

This poster is amazing for a number of reasons. One, it highlights Captain Marvel’s symbol with the star, which is beautiful. Secondly, she is fully aglow in this poster, highlighting her tremendous power. And finally, the red, blue, and gold suit is straight up beautiful. It’s hands down of the coolest superhero suits ever made and is absolutely perfect for her awesomeness.
