A Six-Year Poster Evolution: Black Widow

Black Widow is one of the earliest characters to debut in the MCU and even though she hasn’t gotten her own film yet she has played an integral role in this massive story. She’s easily one of my favorite characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and I am SO excited to take a closer look at the evolution of her character posters through the Avengers movies. Enjoy!

The Avengers

Sleek, deadly, ready to kick butt, Black Widow looks like the ultimate superhero spy in this fascinating poster for The Avengers. Love it!

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Black Widow returns in Avengers: Age of Ultron with an updated suit that shows off the electrical currents moving throughout the suit. It gives her a new look which is always awesome.

Avengers: Infinity War

Talk about evolution. Black Widow returns years later with a brand new look. Now she has blond hair, she’s clad in a thick vest over her patented black suit, giving her a more militaristic look, and she’s got a new weapon; an awesome looking baton. Black Widow returned in Infinity War definitely ready to defend the world from the might of Thanos.

Avengers: Endgame

And last but not least we get a close up look at Black Widow in all of her glory. This poster highlights the clear fact that some time has passed, for her hair has grown longer and is almost all the way back red. We also see that she’s tied it back into a braid, revealing the seriousness of this final showdown. She doesn’t want any hair to get in her way.

I had so much fun looking at all of these posters. Tomorrow I will highlight two more characters; Gamora and Ant-Man. Fun!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day.
