Is Scarlet Witch the Dark Phoenix of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming to an end with Spider-Man: Far from Home and Phase 4 is approaching. Phase 4 will bring a whole new journey of storytelling to these characters. One of the fascinating trends of the first three phases was seeing villainous characters end up becoming allies of the heroes. Loki, Nebula, and Ghost were examples of this trend and it was so much fun to watch. What if this time around we get another trend; the heroes turning bad.

Wanda Maximoff started as a villain in Avengers: Age of Ultron but soon became an ally of The Avengers; hence becoming an Avenger. We saw her side with Captain America  against Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War, we saw her fall in love with Vision and have to kill him just as quickly in order to save the universe from Thanos, and we saw her come back from the dead and fight Thanos in an epic one-on-one moment that left me pumping my fist in the air with joy.

The Official Trailer for ‘Frozen II’ Is Here

Frozen came out six years ago and it told a wonderful tale about love and family. Now Frozen‘s sequel is set to come out this November and the story is as mysterious as it gets. The new trailer reveals that Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf will venture beyond their kingdom of Arendale but beyond that, the story is still very mysterious at the moment. Here’s the trailer.

I like the trailer a lot. I mainly enjoy that it’s still not showing anything, meaning when we do see it later on this year the story will still be very new to us.

If you have children they are going to be so pumped when they see this trailer. Frozen is like The Avengers of children’s movies and Frozen II is Avengers: Endgame. The secrecy surrounding the film has been dense (like Avengers: Endgame) and the trailers are being super secretive (that’s also reminiscent of Endgame).

I have a feeling this movie is going to be good. Will it be better than Frozen? I’m not very sure. Frozen is perfect, from start to finish. Its basic storyline is done with precision and its songs are truly outstanding. Frozen II will be enjoyable but its story may not be as concise. We’ll have to wait and see.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.
