A Poster Has Arrived for the new Netflix Original Series: ‘The Witcher’

If you may recall Henry Cavill last year announced that he was done playing Superman, leaving superhero movie fans in slight shock. We all knew Ben Affleck was on his way out but Henry Cavill too? On the heels of his announcement, it was also revealed that Henry Cavill would be taking his talents to another frontier–the global streaming Goliath, Netflix–where he would star in a live-action adaptation of the beloved video games series; The Witcher.

I even have this game stashed away somewhere in a lost vault with all of the other stashed games I own (mainly Wii games.) Funny thing is, I haven’t even played it. I couldn’t take the main character’s deep Batman-like voice. It was grating on my nerves big time. Anyway, off of that.

Netflix is creating an original series coming out later this year bringing the game to life with Henry Cavill starring as the main character. That’s pretty cool. And today the first poster dropped. Here it is.

Cool poster. I probably won’t watch the show but it is nice to see yet another awesome series coming to this wonderful streaming service. I’m telling you, I’m currently binge-watching all 8 seasons! of Voltron: Legendary Defender and am about to begin testing the waters of Stranger Things and I have to say, I love Netflix. Its original content can be pretty entertaining (have you seen Black Mirror?) and its wide variety of content from your favorite television shows (The Clone Wars) to your favorite daytime flicks (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse people!) is astonishing.

And just when you think you’ve discovered everything there is to offer on Netflix boom, there goes something else to binge-watch. It’s really incredible.

And The Witcher is only adding to this sprawling list of happiness. It’s truly exciting.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.
