‘Thanos: Titan Consumed’ was something I knew I needed but didn’t think I’d ever get…and that is the story of Thanos. I started reading the book on Sunday. I finished it last night. Yeah. It was that good.
Thanos is a character that has always fascinated me because he’s an intellectual villain. He talks out his plans. He tells the people he murders why he’s doing what he’s doing. In his eyes, he is a hero and everyone who fights against him are the villains. The ones who want to keep the galaxy in its imminent state of ruin and Barry Lyga does an INCREDIBLE job transporting the reader into Thanos’s head and thought process.
I became consumed (pun totally intended) by this amazing story which is, in full, the story of Thanos’s life and his determination to complete his great, righteous mission which is, of course, to wipe out half of all life. Continue reading ‘Thanos: Titan Consumed’ Is a Must-Read for Fans of the MCU
I’m excited to announce this Thursday for one of the most mysterious and intriguing characters, Qi’ra, begins and I am so thrilled to share with the final teaser poster for this incredible new adventure. Here it is.
Like the two previous posters, this poster tells a brief story. One thing that became very obvious in Solo: A Star Wars Story was that she was more than a pretty face. She was also a powerful warrior well-trained in the Teräs Käsi, a martial arts form designed to counteract the fighting style of the Jedi. Darth Maul trained Dryden Vos this martial arts form–that’s why he was so lethal against Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan–and in return, Dryden Vos taught the fighting style to Qi’ra.
I loved this element to Qi’ra’s and want to highlight more of it. But, as you can see on the poster, she’s cloaked in darkness, keeping in line with the mystery of her character. But there is still that classic femininity to her, viewable by the earring and the maroon lipstick.
She’s ready to kick some serious butt but she’s going to look beautiful doing it. Love it!
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a marvelous day. May the Force be with you.
