‘Star Wars: Resistance’: Season 2 Gets Its First Official Trailer

Star Wars: Resistance‘s second (and final) season airs on October 6 and just to remind us that this show exists and is fast approaching an official trailer dropped today. Check it out.

While this isn’t the greatest trailer I’ve ever seen it definitely seems to promise plenty of drama, action, and fun moments as we follow these characters’ journeys through this tumultuous next stage of their adventure.

Tamara becomes a First Order pilot. The galaxy is in turmoil. The First Order’s reign of terror is spreading, and all of this will take place in the first! half of the season. And who doesn’t love seeing Supreme Leader Kylo Ren at the end of the trailer to only make things that much more interesting?

All in all, this was a good trailer to see ahead of this year’s highly-anticipated D23 Expo which supposedly will share more information about The Mandalorian and hopefully The Rise of Skywalker. And honestly, any Star Wars news is great news to my ears. 🙂

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day. May the Force be with you.

You Wouldn’t Believe Who’s Missing from the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Credits

After watching the AMAZING credits for Avengers: Endgame for the first time yesterday I was thoroughly pleased in seeing so many important characters throughout the MCU highlighted in the credits. It truly made it feel like this was the end of an era. The end of the Infinity Saga.

But after watching the credits my sister pointed something out to me and once I realized it I was stunned. Paul Bettany, who of course plays fellow Avenger/keeper-of-the-Soul- Stone, Vision was not included in the credits. My jaw dropped. How could this be?!

Vision is easily one of the most important characters in the MCU and Paul Bettany’s involvement in the franchise goes back to Iron Man when his only role was to voice Tony Stark’s AI companion, JARVIS. How in the world could Natalie Portman who, until Endgame and now the upcoming Thor sequel, Thor: Love and Thunder, had practically been written out of the franchise be in the credits but Paul Bettany couldn’t. I don’t know whether to be outraged or simply saddened by this egregious blunder.

What happened? Did Paul Bettany accidentally leak Endgame spoilers and so they said he couldn’t be acknowledged in the credits? Did he step on Marvel Studios execs’ toes? Why is Paul Bettany not in the credits?!

It’s honestly a blaring shame.

I thank you for reading this saddening observation and I hope you have a tremendous day.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ at Home

Yesterday was the day Avengers: Endgame arrived on Blu-Ray in the United States and, because I had preordered it months ago, I walked into my local Best Buy and got my Limited Edition Steelbook copy of the film with a HUGE smile on my face. When I got home I entered in my digital code, sat down with my little sister at my side and the speakers ready to loudly project the film into my ears, and watched Avengers: Endgame.

The greatest surprise I had about the movie was how unexpectedly short it felt. The movie is three hours long and yet it feels like the shortest 3-hour movie that I have ever seen. The story flys by with brilliant efficiency and next thing you know you reach the film’s tantalizing conclusion which, once again, made me cry like a baby. I don’t know what it is about that final battle that gets to my emotions so hard. Maybe it’s an instinctive reflex of unbridled joy at seeing so many of my favorite superheroes all coalesced into one EPIC battle of the ages. Every hero gets a highlight, every MCU hero that you love dons the screen, every hero is there! It’s unprecedented. Nothing like it has ever been achieved and it just…gosh, it messes me up.
