Simply the title for the upcoming Skywalker saga finale is having Star Wars fans scratching their heads about the meaning of this film because it does seem so blatant. I mean, it’s called The Rise of Skywalker for crying out loud!
With the sequel trilogy revolving around Rey many people are thinking that she may be a secret Skywalker. And then there’s the very possible chance that The Rise of Skywalker could refer to Anakin Skywalker returning from the dead but the only character that is currently alive and officially connected to the Skywalker story is Kylo Ren. And now, I think I’ve found a connection that proves The Rise of Skywalker is, at least, partly about Kylo Ren.
In both trailers for The Rise of Skywalker, we have heard Luke’s voice narrating each trailer with a few simple sentences: “We have passed on all we know. A thousand generations lives in you now. But this is your fight.”
Immediately we believe that he’s talking about Rey but I have a huge feeling this is another classic form of diversion on J.J Abrams’ part.
After momentarily losing it once seeing the D23 Special Look for The Rise of Skywalker I went on a Star Wars trailer marathon and I learned something that could be the key to an important storyline in the film. When The Lion King was re-released this year in a live-action format some big music stars signed onto the billion-dollar-grossing project, one of them being the Queen B herself, Beyonce.
As the film was coming out the buzz was all over the place for her original song featured in the movie called “Spirit” and I stayed away for a while. And then one day I decided to listen to the song on Spotify and I was utterly blown away. With a head-bumping beat, simple lyrics that are super easy to sing along with, and an inspiring message fit for The Lion King this song has grown on me big time. And the music video is just as enjoyable. Check it out.
This song needs to be nominated for an Oscar. It’s just way too good. Plus, like last year we got to see Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper perform their hit song, “Shallow” during The Oscars, I would love to see Beyonce singing “Spirit” during this year’s Oscars. It would be expectedly amazing.
Would you like to see “Spirit” get nominated for Best Original Song during this year’s Oscars? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fabulous day.

Usually, my first post of the day arrives around 10am EST but today I’m so excited to share some fun news with you that I had to write an early morning post.
Earlier this month a lightbulb went off in my brain. For so long I have wished to see the fourth film in The Dark Knight trilogy simply because SO much was being hinted at for a fourth installment; Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Robin, more Catwoman, of course, more Batman. And so it hit me. As someone who has had an absolute blast sharing my fanfiction adventures with you, I decided to take matters into my own hands and write what would be, essentially, the fourth film in The Dark Knight trilogy.
And of course, my wonderful sister was able to provide a jaw-dropping tease as to what’s to come in this phenomenal picture. Continue reading I’ve Got a New FanFiction Story Coming This September
