After recently watching The Force Awakens I began to clearly wonder, “How will The Rise of Skywalker begin?”
You see, as a Star Wars fan, one of my favorite things to see is the beginning of a new Star Wars movie. So, as I watched The Force Awakens, I realized that I may have discovered how The Rise of Skywalker may (or at least should) begin.
At the beginning of The Force Awakens, the first thing that is blatantly shown is the First Order and Kylo Ren as they singlehandedly destroy a small village on Jakku in search of the map which would then help them find Luke Skywalker.
In an instant, like in A New Hope, we learn who the villains are and how deadly they can be.
In the teaser for The Rise of Skywalker, we see Kylo Ren attacking someone in a red forest and stormtroopers surrounding him. They are also fighting whatever enemy Kylo is facing. It’s been a year after the events of The Last Jedi and what better way to bring us back into the fray than by reminding us of the First Order and their might?
In the way that A New Hope and Return of the Jedi began with Darth Vader, The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker should start with Kylo Ren.
It’ll be an exhilarating jolt to the senses and an instant reminder of why we love Star Wars so much.
What do you think? Should The Rise of Skywalker begin with Kylo Ren and the First Order? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a tremendous day. May the Force be with you.
Poe Dameron is one of the greatest characters to be conceived in the Star Wars franchise. Yes, he was a bit annoying in The Last Jedi but that’s only because Rian Johnson took away from him what made him cool in the first place; being an awesome pilot. And, it turns out this awesome pilot has a bit of fashion sense as well. So, with no further delay, here’s a look at his fashion journey so far. Enjoy!
The Casual Resistance Look
Poe Dameron is often found in an orange piloting jumpsuit but when he has to wear something a little more casual he sure knows how to look good if you know what I mean. 😉
With a rugged yet surprisingly stylish Resistance jacket, a low V-necked long-sleeved shirt perfect for the sandy terrain of Jakku, and a pair of black pants with his patented black boots, Poe Dameron entered the Star Wars universe with a bang. As you may know, a new fanfiction series that I am bringing to you this September is a series focusing on what is essentially the unknown fourth film in The Dark Knight Trilogy that never happened. This story, set seven years after Batman’s “death”, focuses on a new hero who rises from the depths to save Gotham from a terrible threat, Batwoman. I can’t wait for you to read this story!
But, leading up to the debut of this new fanfiction series, I have partnered with my sister, who you already know is an incredible artist–and her new website which is a truly epic art gallery that goes by the name Phantasy Studio (you should totally check it out, by the way)–in this endeavor.
If you missed the first poster here it is.
Harley Quinn has actually become one of my favorite comic book characters and to bring her to this story has already been a fun experience for me personally. Continue reading ‘The Dark Knight Lives’ Gets Its Second Poster

Nienye and T-38 knew it could only be the will of the Force that they weren’t dead yet as the AT-ST Walker continued to shoot at them with relentless impunity. As the female guards behind them were caught in the crossfire T-38 and Nienye ran forward, lasers flying overhead, before ducking into a nearby building.
With the laser fire causing chaos in the street Nienye turned to T-38.
“Now what?!” he yelled.
T-38 held her wrist up to her mouth, a nearby explosion raining gravel upon them.
“Airstrike, take down the AT-ST Walker on my signal,” she yelled.
“On it,” replied Solaar, her voice muffled by the noise surrounding them.
When the comms was ended T-38 looked at Nienye. “I’ve got a plan.” Continue reading QI’RA: Chapter Twenty-Two
