What’s Your Favorite Finn Look?

Finn has had one of the most muted styles in the Star Wars franchise but what makes Finn’s style so fascinating is his clothes are literally evolving with his story. It’s actually rather cool. So, I couldn’t wait to talk a little more about his outfits for today’s segment in this series. Enjoy!

The Stormtrooper/Rebel

Rey's Quarterstaff

In The Force Awakens, Finn’s story is very simple. He was a stormtrooper who obtained a conscience, wanted to run to the farthest corner in the galaxy to get away from the First Order, but found himself caught in the fight between the Resistance and the First Order; and all of this is apparent in his clothing.

He’s shed the classic white armor the stormtroopers wear, hiding as a stormtrooper in plain sight with his black undergarments and stormtrooper boots. But he wears Poe’s jacket, a sign of the rebellious streak in him and his unwavering allegiance to his friends. Continue reading What’s Your Favorite Finn Look?

Here is the Full Cast List of James Gunn’s Reimagining of ‘Suicide Squad’

When I watched Suicide Squad for the first time last year I was immediately struck with the blaring similarities between this anti-hero team and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Like The Guardians of the Galaxy, the Suicide Squad was a bunch of misfits who were tasked with saving the world, but unlike Guardians of the Galaxy, which was helmed by James Gunn’s genius, Suicide Squad was a hot mess of a storyline laced with potential.

When Disney briefly released James Gunn after several inappropriate tweets were unearthed from Gunn’s past Warner Bros. quickly jumped on the opportunity for James Gunn to take over the Suicide Squad sequel. On Friday, James Gunn revealed the new and improved cast for what is now being called The Suicide Squad and of course, I’m here to share the list with you. Enjoy!

Margot Robbie returns as Harley Quinn, who was actually the only good thing about Suicide Squad. I’m relieved. Continue reading Here is the Full Cast List of James Gunn’s Reimagining of ‘Suicide Squad’

‘Avengers: Endgame’ Apparently Wasn’t Iron Man’s Last Movie After All

One of the reasons Avengers: Endgame was such a big deal for the Marvel community was because it was supposedly the final run of two of the franchise’s most famous and beloved characters, Iron Man and Captain America.

Iron Man would perish after saving the world from Thanos’s ultimate goal to destroy the universe and Captain America went on to become old and pass the mantle on to Sam Wilson a.k.a Falcon. But, according to a report from Deadline that’s spreading around the internet, Endgame may have not been Iron Man’s last outing after all.

They have said, and I quote: “Downey will be seen in the role of Stark one more time, however, in the Marvel prequel Black Widow in May 2020.”

While this is clearly exciting news for all the above reasons it almost feels like it’s underwhelming his incredible sacrifice at the end of Endgame. So much detail and time went into delivering Robert Downey Jr./Iron Man an impactful departure that the thought of that departure being erased with him making a sure-to-be-cameo appearance in Black Widow is almost distracting.

But, I’m not complaining. Because this is a prequel, I would love to see Iron Man in the film, and heck, who knows, maybe even Captain America can join the party as well. Because this is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Black Widow, toward the end of the film, will surely have to make her way to joining Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson, and Wanda Maximoff as a Secret Avenger. So…why not show that transition in the movie and make all of our days?

There is honestly so much potential with this Black Widow prequel and as it draws nearer my excitement for the film is only growing.

How do you feel about the prospect of seeing Iron Man in the Black Widow movie? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day.

QI’RA: Chapter Twenty-Seven

Departure for Coruscant

Qi’ra had never been on a Star Destroyer before but she was thankful that it was under positive circumstances. Captain Peer was the first to greet her, a smile on his face as he led her across the massive hangar filled with stormtroopers walking to and fro, Imperial officers going to foresee their various duties and walls lined with TIE fighters and TIE bombers that looked more impressive up close. Even Nienye and T-38, who also hadn’t had the luxury of being on a Star Destroyer, were highly impressed. Continue reading QI’RA: Chapter Twenty-Seven
