What’s Your Favorite Padme Look: Part 1?

There are a lot of beautiful and imaginatively inventive outfits that are made for characters in cinema but it’s kind of obvious that Padme has the greatest wardrobe of all of the characters. From The Phantom Menace to Revenge of the Sith, Padme’s style is outstanding with a capital O and so very extensive that her segment will take three days to study. So on that note let’s look at her outfits in The Phantom Menace.

Classic Red Dress

So perfect, so illustrious, so powerful, Queen Amidala demands your attention in this fascinating getup. This was the look she wore for the first time we saw her in The Phantom Menace and it was very apparent that this woman, this young queen, was a boss. My Long-Awaited Review of ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’

This has been a fun year for Marvel, again. First, we had Captain Marvel which was a fun introduction to a powerful heroine. Then we had Avengers: Endgame which was expectedly brilliant. And last but definitely not least, we had Spider-Man: Far from Home.

I missed getting to see it in the movie theaters but as soon as it arrived on Digital I jumped at the chance to finally see this movie and it wasn’t long before I realized I was going to have a blast.

First off, if you’re wondering whether Spider-Man: Far from Home is better than Spider-Man: Homecoming, in short, it isn’t, but it isn’t worse either. I find that both films are practically the same in style, enjoyment, plot twists, and humor. But that’s actually a good thing considering that Spider-Man: Homecoming was pretty entertaining and clearly stands as one of my ten favorite Marvel movies. One of My Favorite Scenes in ‘Star Wars’ Is Reimagined In an Exciting Way

Rey and Kylo Ren, they are two of my favorite characters in Star Wars. And the both of them share one of my favorite scenes in the franchise; the praetorian guard fight scene from The Last Jedi. This scene has been depicted over and over again through artists’ fan art endeavors but my sister took the epic duel to a whole other level.

Yesterday, in drawing inspiration to recreate the fantastic scene, she learned that Praetorian Guards were actually an elite unit of the Imperial Roman Army during the days of Ancient Rome. During the Roman Empire, things changed for the infamous guards who were then assigned as Emperor Augustus’s personal guard, like Snoke!

So, learning this, she decided to reimagine that incredible fight scene as if it was in Ancient Rome and boy is it jaw-droppingly incredible. Check it out.

I’ve seen a lot of cool fan art but I don’t think I’ve seen anything as fantastically incredible as this. The Roman garb Rey and Kylo are wearing, the blue and red swords instead of the traditional lightsabers, the actual Roman-looking Praetorian Guards, the super-polished floor, everything about this piece of art screams perfection and now that I’ve seen it I don’t think I’ll ever be able to see that scene the same again.

It was so incredible I had to share it with you and I seriously hoped this brought you as much joy as it brought me.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day. May the Force be with you.

QI’RA: Chapter Thirty

Moff Arnim

Qi’ra had always imagined coming to the capital of the Republic and dabbling with the elite. Now it was actually happening but it wasn’t as glorious as she imagined.

Yes, Coruscant was beautiful and the Senate Building was everything she expected it to be but there was a sense of malice within the walls. As if secret eyes were watching her every move and it was disconcerting. Continue reading QI’RA: Chapter Thirty
