The Dark Knight Lives (THREE)

Commissioner Gordon paces in the infirmary located within the depot, his hands clasped behind his back and his aged face lined with hardship. He walks back and forth in front of a room where the man that was found naked in the street is being tended to.

He’d seen many insane individuals during his time in Gotham but still, he had never seen anything quite like this, and it worried him. Gotham was a dark place crawling with criminals ready to make a name for themselves. And without Batman around to stop them… Continue reading The Dark Knight Lives (THREE)

I Think I’ve Found the Proof that Rey Is a Palpatine Clone

After recently watching The Last Jedi I was once again struck by the clear blatancy of Rey’s darker side. Throughout the film, she is bombarded by darkness, whether we’re talking about her first lesson with Luke Skywalker or her growing relationship with a very agent of the dark side, Kylo Ren, the darkness in Rey is very apparent.

Of course, throughout my experience watching the film, I couldn’t stop thinking of the infamous Dark Rey that we saw at the end of the D23 Special Look. There are a lot of theories out there about what that haunting scene could mean but I’m heavily leaning toward the idea that Dark Rey was a clone. And I feel I have the definitive proof of that fact.

Halfway through the film, Rey goes down to a cave where she has a haunting vision. Continue reading I Think I’ve Found the Proof that Rey Is a Palpatine Clone

Throwback Friday: I’m Convinced That Captain Phasma Isn’t Gone

This is hilarious! Looking back at this post that I wrote last April about Captain Phasma playing a role in The Rise of Skywalker is actually really funny. At the time, I was so heartbroken that Captain Phasma, one of the coolest characters to appear in this franchise, was gone that I refused to believe the obvious fact. Now, seventeen months later, looking back at this post is actually quite the comic relief. So, for this week’s Throwback Friday, here’s a look back at why I was so certain that Captain Phasma would play a role in The Rise of Skywalker. Enjoy!

The Force Awakens introduced some exciting new characters to the Star Wars universe and one of those incredible new additions was Captain Phasma. I remember seeing some concept art for The Force Awakens in the early months of 2014 and one of the most interesting pieces of art was the one that highlighted Phasma in concept form. It was literally one of the coolest things I had ever seen. Then, when I found out that this incredible new stormtrooper was a woman I was like, “WHAAAT!” She was so awesome!!! And then I watched The Force Awakens and I was like, “Huh?” There was so much hype surrounding that character and she ended up playing a ridiculously minor role that quite possibly didn’t need to be in the movie. She was simply eye candy for the film and a chance for Disney to say they introduced the first female villain to a Star Wars movie. When I heard the news I literally jumped up and down, pumping my fist in the air with unadulterated joy about this super exciting development. So yes, we can all rest assured that we will see the events of that jaw-dropping post-credit scene play out in a fantastic third Spider-Man film!

QI’RA: Chapter Thirty-Nine

Ambush

T-38 rushed to Qi’ra’s side, her eyes wide as she beheld her boss. Her skin was getting paler, her breaths were heavy, and she seemed barely on the cusp of consciousness. She hurriedly picked Qi’ra up and took her into the bedroom. As she lied her on the bed Qi’ra grabbed her arm.

“Nienye,” Qi’ra said softly. “Where’s Nienye?”

“He left,” T-38 told her bluntly. “Now stay here. I need to find out what’s wrong with you.” Continue reading QI’RA: Chapter Thirty-Nine
