Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was a massive hit last year, delivering a powerful story that impacted millions. I’ve seen the movie, I think, five or six times now and honestly, it’s my favorite Spider-Man film, surpassing even the joyous adventures of Tom Holland’s Spidey stories. And the good news has arrived about the sequel.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 is coming in a little over two years from now with a spring release in 2022. I couldn’t be more excited.
Miles Morales will face new villains, meet new friends, and will probably have to overcome another very personal but rewarding challenge that will only inspire more viewers of the film.
Sony’s Morbius arrives on July 31, 2020. Sony’s Venom 2 on October 2, 2020. Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man 3 on July 16, 2021. And Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 on April 8, 2022. It’s a great time to be a Spider-Man fan.
