My Sister Loves Captain Marvel

My sister and I pretty much love the same stuff. We love most of the same movies. We love most of the same food. And we love most of the same characters. But one of the few things that differ between us is our favorite Marvel superhero. I am a Doctor Strange fan (and so is my sister) but my love for Doctor Strange is a little more rambunctious. I mean, Doctor Strange can make his fingers sparkle and I’ll grin with excitement. The same goes for my sister and Captain Marvel.

My sister is a bonafide Captain Marvel fan and I don’t blame her. Captain Marvel is genuinely awesome. Her powers are extraordinary and getting to see her jump from the comic book pages to the big screen has been nothing short of a pleasure.

My sister’s adoration of Captain Marvel can be seen through her several drawings of the character and so because they are all so special, I wanted to share them on this beautiful Saturday. Enjoy!

Five different versions of a superhero powerhouse.

As someone who is a fan of my sister’s work I love sharing her pieces whenever I get the chance and these pictures were totally worth sharing. 😊

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.

Here’s the Teaser Trailer for ‘Soul’

Every year Disney/Pixar releases a new movie for children (and adults) to obsess over. In a few weeks, the highly-anticipated Frozen II will be hitting theaters and making a killing at the box-office. The film has been eagerly awaited for six years since its predecessor, Frozen, blew the minds of nearly everyone who watched it. And just a few months ago, we got to see the “final” installment in the Toy Story franchise with Toy Story 4, a heartfelt film that’s designed to pluck at your heartstrings. However, next year there are three more Disney/Pixar movies to look forward to. OnwardSoul, and Raya and the Last Dragon. A few days ago the teaser trailer for Soul was released and of course, I watched it. Here it is.

Soul is heavily reminding me of Inside Out but I have hope that it will be better than Inside Out was. I don’t know, I just wasn’t a fan of the film, Inside Out. When I get Disney+ next week I’ll definitely give it another chance because maybe there was something that I was missing last time that I’ll get this time but one thing’s for certain, Soul is going to be good (and will very likely bring many tears to viewers’ eyes.)

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a remarkable day.

If Only She Could Tell the Truth: Part 27

The harsh wind rolling off of the ocean whistled across the sandy landscape. Qi’ra placed a hand to the top of her head as she beheld the wretched remains of what was Lando’s most prized possession; the Millennium Falcon.

It sat quarterly submerged in the brown sand, its once beautiful exterior now a patchwork of metal wiring and dirty white plating. With the escape pod now gone, thanks to Han, an open space disfigured the front of the vessel, making the ship look even junkier. Continue reading If Only She Could Tell the Truth: Part 27
