A Fun Revisiting of a Disney Classic

As a child, Aladdin was one of my favorite Disney films and even as an adult, the film does not fail to provide me boundless joy. The songs, the characters, the villain and the mythological mystique, Aladdin is one of those movies that you don’t forget.

My sister and I watched this film the other night and we enjoyed it all the way until the end. And here’s the incredible thing, the last time we watched this I think I had to have been maybe seven and my sister was five. We remembered vaguely seeing the film because it was so enjoyable and watching the movie again (thanks to Disney Plus) jogged our memory of why we enjoyed the film so much.

Now, when I finally get the chance to watch the live-action version, I’m very excited to see how it differs from the original and how Will Smith morphs the character of the infamous Genie. It should be fun!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have an amazing day.

‘Black Widow’: A Trailer Could Be Coming Very Soon

Disney is doing a great job distracting us. With Disney Plus arriving last Tuesday, millions of Disney fans have found themselves lost in the vast library of Disney goodness that the streaming service is allowing us to explore and exploit. But, in doing this, we have temporarily forgotten about all of the other, more pressing Disney news that was once our daily conversation a few weeks ago, and that is, of course, the talk surrounding The Rise of Skywalker and the two upcoming Marvel movies, Black Widow and The Eternals. And this is a great strategy on Disney’s part.

However, Frozen II is coming out next week and December is almost upon us. Here are two prime times for a Black Widow teaser trailer to finally be revealed. Like Avengers: Endgame, we will most likely get the teaser trailer in December, meaning we will finally get an official look at what to expect with this new Marvel movie and I am pumped!

It’s been a long time coming for Black Widow to get her own film and I have a feeling this movie will be worth the wait. Continue reading ‘Black Widow’: A Trailer Could Be Coming Very Soon

Who’s Your Favorite Female Avenger?

Remember The Avengers? It was 2012, Marvel Studios was about to release their most audacious undertaking yet, and the only female Avenger at the time was Black Widow, a fact that never escaped me. Fast forward seven years and the number of powerful women in this franchise is nothing short of fascinating.

And what makes it even greater, it’s a diverse array of female heroes to cheer for, meaning every girl can find someone they identify with.

So, for this week’s Who’s Your Favorite?, I thought it would be perfect to have them be the topic for this week. Enjoy!

Pepper Potts

If you told me years ago that Pepper Potts would end up becoming an Avenger I would’ve laughed. Turns out, it actually happened and I couldn’t be happier.

Black Widow

Black Widow, a Russian assassin turned S.H.I.E.L.D agent turned Avenger, has one of the most compelling stories in the MCU. A story that will only expand and become more interesting next May when we finally get to see Black Widow.

If Only She Could Tell the Truth: Part 36

Qi’ra watched as Han began to inch his way toward the case of coaxium but Beckett caught him.

“Ah, ah, ah,” Tobias said, drawing his blaster. “Stay away from there.” He pointed the blaster at Chewbacca. “Chewie, paws up where I can see them.” He gestured at one of the two guards in the room. “Check that lid.”

The guard did as he commanded and soon found Han’s blaster attached to the lid. Beckett nodded in appreciation.

“Good thinking but not good enough,” Tobias said. Continue reading If Only She Could Tell the Truth: Part 36
