Watching ‘A Bug’s Life’ For the First Time

One of the best things about Disney+ is discovering new movies or television shows to enjoy. As a child, one of my favorite films was Antz so A Bug’s Life has always been a film I’ve wanted to see. My sister and I finally watched it the other evening and I LOVED it.

I’m a Pixar fan. This movie reiterated why.

It was so funny, so full of life, packed full of lovable and sometimes terrifying characters, and by the conclusion, I was beaming with joy.

A Bug’s Life was far better than I expected and a true testament to great and engaging storytelling.

I’m giving this movie 95 out of 100 and 4.5 out of 5 stars. It’s not perfect but it’s darn-near close to being an impeccable movie.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a tremendous day.

Throwback Friday: The New Trailer for ‘Mulan’ Looks Amazing

Disney is remaking a whole bunch of Disney classics and the latest to join the ranks of these live-action films is Mulan, which is set to come out next March. Here’s the trailer.

Um…wow!!!! Like I said before, I love Mulan and this trailer was just…perfect. Featuring a brand new character in a villainous witch, a new pet in a beautiful phoenix for Mulan, and the music of the Golden Globe-nominated song, “Reflection”, playing in the background, this trailer wowed me in ways I wasn’t expecting.

In fact, it made me actually kind of emotional, it was that beautiful! Continue reading Throwback Friday: The New Trailer for ‘Mulan’ Looks Amazing

The Dark Knight Lives (TWENTY-SIX)

Gloria Ramirez was in her room watching television. Around her, the evidence of the scuffle that had transpired last night in this very room still lingered, clouding everything in a disturbing gloom.

On the television, the camera stayed close to the face of the man named Goldman as he moved through Gotham Park, a crowd of excited spectators trailing after him. Continue reading The Dark Knight Lives (TWENTY-SIX)
