The last four episodes of The Clone Wars were somewhat fun but overall I was heavily disappointed. With the first four episodes featuring some exciting action sequences and great character development, the next four episodes were a bit…blah in comparison. Well, it’s very clear that these last four episodes detailing “The Siege of Mandalore” are going to be absolutely incredible if this ninth episode is anything to go by. It had everything!
Anakin and Obi-Wan’s hilarious banter, some great music that left me feeling so many levels of nostalgia, Ahsoka and Anakin’s reunion that got me surprisingly emotional, and lots and lots of action. Next week’s episode is going to be awesome!!! and I can’t wait to see what happens!

This season of Survivor already was easily in my top 5 favorite seasons of all time with something exciting and unexpected transpiring weekly but this week, this week’s episode The Full Circle officially confirmed the fact that this is my favorite season of all time.
Every season the several remaining Survivor players get a chance to see their loved ones but usually only one loved one is permitted to arrive on the island. Survivor: Winners at War did something historic by letting the players and even the players voted out on Edge of Extinction see their families; I’m talking children and all. Oh man, the tears were pouring and I did everything I could to keep it together. Until the end when something else historic happened; the jury swarming Jeff Probst with gratitude. There have been many women in films but rarely do you see a compelling female villain. I have seen countless male antagonists who have stolen the show with their creepiness or their sheer awesomeness but being able to enjoy a female villain in a movie is so very hard to find. But today I’m going to list the female baddies whose wicked ways are shone in the most delightful (or horrifying) fashion and have grown to be some of my favorite characters. Enjoy!
10. Red Queen
Alice in Wonderland wasn’t the best Disney movie ever made but one thing I distinctly remembered about the film for years after seeing it in the movie theater nine years ago was the Red Queen. Her putrid behavior and her striking look were unforgettable, standing out amidst a mostly lackluster film that I pretty much erased from memory until I saw it for the second time a few months ago.
Helena Bonham Carter’s performance as the Red Queen wasn’t Oscar worthy but I’ll never forget her incessant screaming for her beloved Jabberwocky anytime soon. Continue reading Throwback Friday: My Ten Favorite Female Villains
