Fan Art Wednesday

Woo, another week has passed and boy do I have some pics for you this week. 🙂

The Whirlwind of Ahsoka’s Blades

Last Friday’s episode of The Clone Wars, “Shattered” was an emotional episode as Order 66 played out before our eyes with Ahsoka at the center of the horrifying event. Bombarded by troopers that once fought alongside her, Ahsoka had to defend her life in a fascinating display of lightsaber awesomeness that my sister captured beautifully in this piece.

May the 4th Be With You

A couple of days ago was of course, May the 4th a.k.a Star Wars day and to commemorate the holiday for Star Wars fans around the world my sister created this piece which manages to encapsulate pretty much the entire franchise. It’s powerful, it’s beautiful, and it is perfect. I love it so much.

The conclusion of The Clone Wars provided no joy, only sadness as we got to see a story come to a tragic end. Ahsoka and Anakin, both driven from the Jedi Order for different reasons, find themselves on different paths, one of darkness and one of true Jedi greatness. Together, their relationship is one of the most profound and moving of the franchise, playing out over twelve years since The Clone Wars movie first came out all those years ago.

This piece my sister drives home the sadness of the finale’s conclusion and really is beautiful.

Oh, I can’t wait to see what I’ll be sharing next week.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day. May the Force be with you.

  1. I’m changing my answer from the other day: no, he didn’t know. He thought she was dead, thinking the lightsaber wouldn’t be left behind on purpose. But he likely had plenty of emotions going through his hidden head when he found it.
