Ranking the ‘X-Men’ Films That I Have Seen

The X-Men are really cool and over the last few years, I’ve begun to actually get involved in the story of these characters. Today, I’m going to share my ranking of the X-Men movies I’ve seen so far.

5. X-Men: First Class

Kevin Bacon, Jason Flemyng, January Jones, Rose Byrne, Nicholas Hoult, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Lucas Till, Jennifer Lawrence, and Zoë Kravitz in X: First Class (2011)

I’ve seen enough of this movie to know it is really bad. The CGI is so horrible I thought it was made in 2009. Not 2011! The prosthetics for Mystique and Beast are atrocious compared to the sequels and Kevin Bacon does not make a convincing villain. Continue reading Ranking the ‘X-Men’ Films That I Have Seen

The Dream Cast of the ‘Knives Out’ Sequel

While Knives Out isn’t one of the best movies I’ve seen it was enjoyable and has a truly riveting screenplay that I have had the luxury of reading every now and then. After watching the movie and learning that there would be a sequel I began to think of the cast and who would make the ultimate ensemble for the next film. So, I decided to share with you my idea of a perfect cast for Knives Out 2. Enjoy.

Scarlet Johansson

Scarlett Johansson in The Black Dahlia (2006)

Scarlet Johansson has become a world-renown actress with her various roles on the big screen, namely her stepping into the limelight as Black Widow for the still-enduring span of ten years. I can imagine her playing a beautiful femme fatale that leaves you constantly wondering if she’s the culprit behind the murder. Continue reading The Dream Cast of the ‘Knives Out’ Sequel

A Movie Ranking: Luke Evans

I knew nothing about Luke Evans until The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. I was pretty much smitten instantly but beyond the actor’s impressive looks he’s become an actor who I actually like in each of the films he’s managed to grace. Namely, in Beauty and the Beast as Gaston…but I’m getting ahead of myself, aren’t I? Let me get to this movie ranking. Enjoy!

6. Clash of the Titans

Sam Worthington in Clash of the Titans (2010)

I don’t even remember seeing Luke Evans in this movie but I’ll tell you this, this movie is so bad I watched it. Does that make sense? It was so laughably terrible that I ended up watching a good chunk of the movie just to see how much worse it was going to get. Lol. Continue reading A Movie Ranking: Luke Evans
