Is There a Maul/Qi’ra Disney+ Series Coming Our Way in the Future?

The Star Wars rumor mill is ramping back up and it seems that word has emerged that a Disney+ series focusing on Maul and Qi’ra could be coming our way. That’s right. Along with the recent speculation that Donal Glover would reprise his role as Lando Calrissian for his own Disney+ series, this Solo spinoff featuring two of the coolest criminals in the galaxy (Maul and Qi’ra) sounds like a win-win situation.

I have been fascinated with Qi’ra ever since she decided to leave Han on Savareen to fly off to an audience with Maul. I felt that her story needed to be continued in whatever capacity Disney was willing to give us and I’m sure they feel the same way.

It would also be a fascinating series because of how different the storyline can be. This isn’t anything like The Mandalorian or any of the other Star Wars movies. This would be a story about villains and their dominance over so many poor souls in the galaxy. Qi’ra would be Maul’s right-hand man in the operation, following his orders while waiting for the right opportunity to take him down herself in the same way that she did Dryden.

Maybe, through some conflict with Qi’ra, it will explain how Maul ended up on Malachor as nothing more than a desperate hermit trying to unlock the secrets within the Sith Temple.

Ooh, the possibilities of a Maul/Qi’ra series are endless, and it would be a good choice on Disney’s part to greenlight this story asap.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day. May the Force be with you.
