Captain America: Secret War (SEVEN)

It was a rainy night in Prague. Couples were on romantic strolls down silent pathways. Taxi cabs drove slowly by on the cobblestoned streets. Lampposts colored the city in an eerie amber glow that accentuated the foggy evening.

Wanda Maximoff was having a pleasant walk, passing the breathtaking churches whose bells tolled hypnotically at the strike of midnight. She stopped before one such church, gazing upward at its towering steeple. The last time she stood before this very church her brother Pietro had been right beside her. At the time their freedom from HYDRA’s torment had been fresh in their minds and they hadn’t known what to do other than weep silent tears of joy.

Now, seeing this church, his absence struck her like a heavy stone. She sighed before moving on, adjusting the hood covering her head. As she continued her stroll down the sidewalk, her hands thrust in her pockets and white vapor seeping from her mouth, she noticed two individuals walking on the other side of the street nearly half a block ahead of her. At first glance, they looked like a simple pair of lovers enjoying a romantic time together but to Wanda, she knew what people with evil intentions looked like. And then she heard a cacophony of jovial chatter up ahead.

Counting Down my 20 Favorite Trailers: #16-‘Black Widow’

I’m so ready for Black Widow and it was this final trailer that did it. Here it is.

I didn’t know if I was going to like this movie and who knows, maybe it’s kind of bad that it took me three trailers and several tv spots to legitimately want to see this film but Marvel Studios know what works and this trailer worked wonders.

We get to see a bunch of Black Widows, we get to see Taskmaster looking like the coolest villain in the MCU with his special set of skills, and we get to see Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) in the spotlight which is fun.

I’m really excited to see what surprises this story has in store and if it took this long for us to get to see this movie I’m sure it’s going to be a whole lot of fun. Woo! Did I say I’m excited?

What movie trailer will be in the magical #15 spot? I can’t wait to show you.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Adria Arjona Will Star in the ‘Cassian Andor’ Prequel Series

Oh, snap! Things are starting to happen at the House of Mouse and the Cassian Andor Disney+ series will begin filming soon. It was supposed to start filming in June but…who knows if that has even happened yet. Its cast is starting to grow though and now a new name has been added to the list.

Adria Arjona who I’ve seen star in Triple Frontier and Pacific Rim: Uprising alongside Star Wars alums, Oscar Isaac, and John Boyega, will play the lead role alongside Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor in the series, becoming the first major Latina character in Star Wars. In fact, Latina characters in Star Wars are pretty much nonexistent which makes this casting choice so exciting.

Star Wars has become more diverse over the years and I’m happy to see the Cassian Andor series continuing that trend.

Now that we’re getting a chance to see the cast begin to grow I’m keeping an eye out for the rest of the casting choices in the coming weeks or months and that’s a very exciting prospect.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a tremendous day. May the Force be with you.
