Doctor Strange Is Back Baby!

I’ve said this plenty of times before but…Doctor Strange is my Marvel favorite superhero. I never would’ve thought that four years ago (which was about a month before Doctor Strange entered theaters) but it’s true. Benedict Cumberbatch portrays the character so impeccably that I can’t imagine anyone else playing the hero. It’s almost as if he was made to one day don the goatee and red high-collared cloak of the Sorcerer Supreme.

I’ve been waiting for his sequel since walking out of the theater on November 4, 2016 and while his sequel will have to wait it was just reported yesterday that Doctor Strange will appear in Spider-Man 3.

It appears he will be playing the new mentor role/father figure of this third Spider-Man installment in the same way that Tony Stark/Iron Man and Nick Fury did in the two previous Spider-Man films and the thought has left me ecstatic.

We got to see a bit of hilarious interaction between Doctor Strange and Peter Parker in Avengers: Infinity War and the thought that we can get some more of that fun has left me reeling with excitement.

This also practically confirms the rumors that we very well may be seeing Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire don the Spider-Man persona again for the Doctor Strange sequel which will apparently truly be a multiverse of madness concocted by the events of WandaVision and Spider-Man 3.

Whatever Marvel Studios has up its sleeve, it seems like Kevin Feige’s brainstorming is going to result in a lot of fun moments and I am ready for every bit of it.

Spider-Man 3 will (hopefully) hit theaters December 17, 2021.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day.
