Is ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ About To Be ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ of the MCU?

Spider-Man fans, hear me out. I know the excitement you’re feeling right now. I know you’re counting down the days until December 17 and each new day brings new waves of butterflies or rushes of extreme excitement. Trust me, I get it because I felt the same way about The Rise of Skywalker.

And then the reviews came out and they weren’t pretty. In fact, they were really bad but I still didn’t want to believe. I told myself, “It’s just the critics. They’re not real Star Wars fans.” And then I watched the film, despised it with all my being, and since then I’ve made myself never get blindly excited for anything ever again.

I understand the hype for No Way Home and there’s a part of me that thinks this could be one of the best MCU movie ever made. But I’m seeing these new TV spots with these terrible shots of unfinished CGI and well, the film looks bad. Literally.

I wish I wasn’t so pessimistic about this movie but I have a feeling No Way Home isn’t going to live up to the hype. I hope I’m wrong.

What do you think? Are you worried about No Way Home too?

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day.

The Top Ten Post-Credit Scenes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

I haven’t done of these ranking posts in a while but after watching Ant-Man the other day and seeing the film’s second post-credits scene (which is the scene from Civil War when Falcon mentions recruiting Ant-Man) I got serious chills and a yearning to write this post. So, here we are, trying to rank ten out of many awesome post-credit scenes. Here we go.

10. Is Steve Rogers Still Alive?-What If…?

Marvel's What If...? season 1 finale spoilers and end-credits scene explained | EW.com

I may be in the minority here when I say that What If…? is one of the best entries in the entire MCU but I, personally, loved every second of it. The animation was gorgeous, perfectly illustrating the characters to make them feel almost lifelike, most of the actual actors were able to voice their characters which, of course, added extra depth to the story, and each week’s episode surprised me more than the last.

For this to be Marvel Studios’ first venture into animation they did a remarkable job.

And to end off the season we got another wonderful tease, that being Steve Rogers’ potential survival into next season. Will he be evil like Bucky or will the story take a different turn? Whatever the case, I’m excited to see what happens next for Captain Carter’s story.

9. Thanos’ Debut-The Avengers

THE AVENGERS - Thanos Post-Credit Scene (2012) Movie Clip - YouTube

Nine years ago a movie came out called The Avengers. It was an unprecedented achievement as it brought together six of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and shattered the box-office with its engaging story and iconic moments. The experiment that was the Marvel Cinematic Universe had paid off and from there it’s been quite the ride ever since.

But Kevin Feige had something greater in mind. An endgame that would lead to the highest-grossing film of all time thanks to a certain purple villain whose name would end up sending chills down the spine of any avid MCU fan; Thanos.

His first appearance in the MCU is small as he performs an out-of-character evil grin and simply side-eyes the camera with foreboding music playing in the background but for loyal comic book fans, they understood exactly what was coming. I, however, did not but after watching Infinity War I understood what the hype was about.

I’m Going To See ‘Dune’ Again Tomorrow!

For the next week starting tomorrow Dune is back in IMAX and of course I had to jump at the opportunity to see this film (my favorite movie of the year!) on the big screen again.

I can’t believe how excited I am. Even though I’ve watched the film at least five times on HBO Max there’s something so utterly magnificent about this movie that it just makes me happy. And there’s nothing like seeing this movie in IMAX. If you haven’t experienced this movie in this movie I highly recommend checking it out. It’s worth every second.

I’m counting down the hours.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.

The Tragic Reason Why the Multiverse May Be In ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

Well, we’re seventeen days away from Spider-Man: No Way Home and that means I’ve got to bring back this post. Enjoy!

The trailer teased a lot of interesting things but one thing that is very clear is that it will include the multiverse. And have a theory why. Hold on to your butts. I’m about to go dark.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!

I Watched ‘Free Guy’ and It Was Hilarious!

There are those movies that come out and it seems like it’s going to be really bad and instead the film is a sleeper hit. Free Guy is one of those films.

I won’t elaborate on the plot because that’s part of the brilliance of this new story but if you’re a gamer you’re going to really like this movie. I found myself guffawing quite a bit throughout the film and the end is totally wild and hilarious. There’s a reason why this movie got a sequel.

I’m giving it 91 or of 100 and 4 out of 5 stars.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.

The ‘Harry Potter: Tournament of Houses’ Has Begun!

Well, Harry Potter fans, this has been quite the year of celebration. Twenty years ago a movie entered theaters that changed the world. It was called Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and it catapulted a franchise into being thanks to quite a huge dose of magic.

As fans all over the world celebrate the momentous occasion I have been included in the celebration in an awesome way.

Thanks to Warner Bros. I got this awesome box filled with iconic Harry Potter goodies like Bertie’s Bott’s Every Flavor Beans (yes, they really do have earwax and booger-flavored beans, among plenty of other gag-inducing flavors like vomit, sausage, and even soap!) but that’s kind of the magic. It really transports you to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. And receiving my Hufflepuff scarf (yes, I am a proud Hufflepuff) was probably one of the best things I’ve ever gotten from a gift box like this.

I proudly own a wand I got from Universal Studios about a decade ago and now I have my Hufflepuff scarf! How awesome is that?!
