A Movie Ranking: Michael Keaton

Michael Keaton has become one of my favorite actors over the years and after recently seeing him in Beetlejuice I love his breadth of work even more now. So, for this week’s A Movie Ranking I wanted to highlight him. Enjoy!

I don’t even remember Michael Keaton is in this movie but I do remember enjoying the film. My family and I went to see it in IMAX and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Of course, it’s not the best film ever made but it is decent. Continue reading A Movie Ranking: Michael Keaton

I’ve Seen ‘Beetlejuice’…and I Loved It!

Beetlejuice is delightfully weird and I loved every moment of it. Over the years I’ve heard of the film but I didn’t know what it was or what it was about. I just knew it had a strange title. When I finally watched the film for the first time last week I was beyond blown away by its wacky storytelling and the original creativity.

Tim Burton’s vision is distinct and as I watched the movie I couldn’t look away.

Michael Keaton in Beetlejuice (1988)

With some of my favorite actors starring in the film–Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Catherine O’Hara, I was indeed invested in the movie.

I’m not a fan of scary movies, so to basically take the scary-movie theme and turn it on its head and turn horror into a comedy made me very pleased. Like I said, I’m not a horror movie fan, so this film was a real treat.

I’m going to say it. This is a perfect movie. 5 out of 5 stars, 100 out of 100.

I loved it!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have an incredible day.
