Ora was on the bridge of the Tantative IV, pacing back and forth as she tried to wrap her head around her situation. Her rescuers, the golden protocol droid C-3PO, the massive Wookie Chewbacca, and astromechs R2-D2 and BB-8 watched silently as she roiled in her confusion. Eventually, Threepio broke the silence. The Rise of Skywalker is just days away, with the world premiere happening tomorrow night. To say I’m excited is an understatement but enough of that. The focus today is on you, my dear readers, and your opinion leading up The Rise of Skywalker. Of course, before the movie comes out and delivers what should be a whopping punch to the emotions with this grand saga finale, I have one last question for the film to ask of you? Which character are you most excited to see in the movie? So, with no further delay, here are the characters. Enjoy!
Masked newcomer Zorii Bliss is practically screaming coolness. With a fantastic outfit and an interesting history with Poe Dameron, this character should play an intriguing role in this upcoming film.
If you love new droids you will be clamoring to see the newest droid to join the Star Wars family, the very cute D-O.
Have you always wanted to see a fierce female warrior who wields a bow in Star Wars? Well, you’ll love Jannah then.
Lieutenant Connix has obtained more love from fans due to her roles in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, plus being the daughter of Carrie Fisher makes her that much more special. With undoubtedly a larger role on the horizon, Connix is destined to shine in this movie.
General Leia Organa
With Leia being highlighted in a greater light in the newest tv spots for The Rise of Skywalker it’s very certain that J.J Abrams is going to give Leia the role that she deserves in this final film.
Ghost or not a ghost? I can’t exactly tell but I’m sure J.J Abrams will resurrect all of Luke’s cool points by the end of The Rise of Skywalker.
Lando is back to lend his swagger to the Resistance.
The mastermind himself has returned. Um…creepy. Let’s see what happens.
Throughout the Sequel Trilogy C-3PO has played a small role but in this last film he will play a much larger role. Will he finally meet his fate? What did his words in the final trailer for The Rise of Skywalker mean? What’s going to happen? And are you getting teary just thinking about it? This movie is destined to punch us right in the feels.
R2-D2 hasn’t been highlighted as abundantly as C-3PO or BB-8 in the tv spots or trailers for The Rise of Skywalker but I’m sure the beloved astromech will play a satisfying role in the film.
BB-8 is going to grasp our hearts again. I can feel it.
Yay, Rose! I’m so ready!
Poe Dameron is on an adventure with his friends, meaning we’ll get plenty of time to see the dashing Resistance hero. Plus, he’ll be piloting the Millennium Falcon at some point in the movie, which should be FANTASTIC!
Kylo Ren’s journey is coming to an end, whatever that may be.
Have you been waiting to see Finn highlighted in a stronger, more important role? Well, J.J Abrams is delivering just that as he has already announced that our favorite ex-stormtrooper will not be treated as simply comic relief throughout this film. Let’s do this!
From lowly scavenger to Jedi Knight, Rey’s journey nears its end. 😜
(Does the Millennium Falcon count as a character? Lol.)
So, of these characters (if there are any others not on this list please feel free to display them in the comments) who are you most excited to see? For me, honestly, I’m at a tie between Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren. They were the ones who started this trilogy and they are going to be the ones who will bring this story to an end. I can’t wait!
I can’t wait to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day. May the Force be with you.
C-3PO was always on top of things. It was his job to do so. Since his creation all those years ago on the arid world of Tatooine, C-3PO was designed to help others. And now, he felt his help would matter more than ever.
Waiting for the right moment along with him aboard the ship that he had been stationed on for nearly two decades, the Tantative IV, was loyal rebel Chewbacca, faithful piloting companion, BB-8, and his best friend in the galaxy, R2-D2. Ben Solo had gathered them in a room before his departure and told them that, if anything happened to Ora, to take the Tantative IV and help her. Yesterday on Good Morning America a thirty-second clip for The Rise of Skywalker was released and it was truly thrilling. Humorous yet action-packed, it’s a small hint at what’s to come and it’s very exciting. Check it out.
I’m loving this!
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day. May the Force be with you.
Okay, okay, okay. Last night when I saw this trailer I was underwhelmed, disappointed, a bit confused altogether. But now, after getting a good night’s sleep, and seeing the trailer again two times this morning, I can legitimately say this trailer is amazing.
Never have we had a trailer so full of hope, so full of promise. It could be a massive lie of course if the movie actually concludes with a depressing ending, but for now, LucasFilm is not trying to fill us with fear but rather fill with us an undeniable joy of what’s to come. And yes, I’m sure there will be some heartbreak, maybe a few deaths along the way, but at the end of the movie, when the credits start rolling, the true happy ending that has taken four decades to bring about will finally arrive and it’s going to be beautiful. Oh my gosh, I’m getting emotional.
So there are my thoughts on the epic trailer. Here is my analysis. Continue reading My Thoughts and Analysis of the Final ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ Trailer
Star Wars is a wonderful franchise that has captured the hearts of millions of fans around the world and part of the reason why is because of the characters. Without those incredible heroes like Luke and Rey or the memorable villains, Darth Vader and Kylo Ren, these movies wouldn’t be half as entertaining as they are now.
Throughout the years there have been incredible character duos in Star Wars that have made the movies so much more fun to watch and today they are part of my weekly segment of Who’s Your Favorite? Here are all of the Star Wars duos (this is solely based on the movies.)
Finn and Rey
Finn and Rey have had quite the journey through the trilogy so far. In fact, their individual journeys ended up leading them apart for the majority of The Last Jedi. But when they are together it’s like a match made in heaven.
Before we were reacquainted with Han Solo and Chewbacca in The Force Awakens we were following the stories of youngsters Finn and Rey and they were so immediately lovable I didn’t even miss the Star Wars veterans. Their friendship is part of the reason why I love The Force Awakens so much and I can’t wait to see them have more time together in Episode IX.
