The Ten Ugliest Deaths in ‘Star Wars’

I found this post I wrote a couple of years ago and because it felt humorous I decided to reshare it. Enjoy!

At first thought, Star Wars is a very family-friendly franchise. There is never too much violence, zero over-the-top sexual themes (well, besides the adult implications between Kylo and Rey, lol) and very mild cursing. That’s part of the reason why these movies are so much fun to watch. Whether you’re 5 or 85 you can enjoy these films to the height of enjoyment and never have to worry about any suggestive content. But, while Star Wars is clearly made for the masses it does contain its memorable moments–specifically deaths–that can leave a chill down your spine. That’s what this post is about. Which ten deaths have I found to be the worst in Star Wars? Here’s my list.

10. Boba Fett

Boba Fett

Boba Fett was easily one of the coolest characters in the original Star Wars trilogy. Unfortunately, he didn’t last very long and ended up suffering the fate of being eaten over a thousand years in the belly of a Sarlaac. That’s nightmarish.

‘Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures’ Returns With Three Fun New Shorts

Star Wars started a fantastic new animated series that highlights and revises some of the greatest moments in the franchise. And the three newest shorts are absolutely incredible; hence me sharing them with you. I hope you enjoy. 🙂

Yoda vs. Count Dooku: Size Matters Not

I don’t like this scene very much in The Attack of the Clones but it was phenomenally recreated in this tantalizing short. Count Dooku looks perfectly villainous and Yoda exudes power and wisdom. I wish the actual version looked this awesome.

What’s Up With Villains Getting Chopped Up in ‘Star Wars’?

One of the most shocking and gruesome surprises in The Last Jedi was when Kylo Ren killed Snoke. When I saw that scene for the first time I was stunned…and confused. So much mystery had surrounded the powerful, menacing Supreme Leader that avid Star Wars theorists were trying to figure out who he was for two years straight only to get all of those theories flushed down the drain. Now, of course, he might not be dead but as it stands he perished in that throne room and it was a terrific surprise that I would’ve never seen coming. But then the other day I watched The Phantom Menace after not having watched it in a loooong while and when Darth Maul got cut in half I realized a lot of villains have come to rather gruesome endings involving getting sliced in half or getting beheaded and so I just wanted to write a small post examining the defeats of a few of Star Wars’ most prominent villains.
