Going To a Restaurant for the First Time Since the Beginning of the Pandemic

Yesterday I went out with my mother and sister to a restaurant for the first time since the beginning of COVID-19, hence the mask in the featured image. Because it was such a momentous occasion I had to document it. So, here goes nothing.

Tortilla Chips and Salsa (The best part of the meal…unfortunately.)

Unsurprisingly, the restaurant was mostly empty. We went to have lunch at around 12:20pm but it was still disheartening to see this independent restaurant, which was a fusion Tex-Mex place called Salsa’s, with so little traffic. We sat on a completely empty patio and were forced to deal with the muggy weather. Continue reading Going To a Restaurant for the First Time Since the Beginning of the Pandemic

‘TENET’ Is Finally Delayed Indefinitely

When Christopher Nolan makes a movie it’s a good idea to watch it. He doesn’t make movies often and when he does it usually ends up being an experience unlike any other. TENET does not look like it will be an exception and Nolan’s desperation for moviegoers to see it shows that it’s going to be a fantastic film but COVID-19, under this reckless administration, isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. In fact, things are getting worse out there and that means governors aren’t allowing movie theaters to open, resulting in the anticipated delay that would see TENET removed from the summer blockbuster scenario.

It’s sad to think that we won’t get to see TENET until who knows when but I’m glad it’s being delayed because if it had come out in August there’s a good chance my family and I wouldn’t have gone to see it due to the dangers of staying indoors for too long with this virus hovering over everyone and everything.

‘Mission: Impossible 7’ Starts Production in the UK

Mission: Impossible 7 is supposed to come out next Fall but the only way that’s going to happen is if the movie can be filmed. Well, it seems that Tom Cruise and co. have started production on the film and can resume filming in the UK so…oh yeah!

This is very exciting news and I cannot wait to see what Cruise and writer/director Christopher McQuarrie have up their sleeves for the next installment.

‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ Will Most Likely Be Postponed

I’ve been dreading this news ever since COVID-19 shut down movie productions in Spring. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was sitting pretty, its release date untampered, but as COVID-19 has only continued to get worse and worse it has become very clear that, with the show not fully complete, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will most likely not meet its release date in August.

And there goes the saddest news of the week. 😭

However, there is always hope considering that Disney has not released an official statement highlighting the show’s delay but…it would take a miracle for this show to come out now.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.
