Love This!

My sister and I weren’t sure if we were going to like Captain Marvel. Yeah, she was the first female Marvel superhero to get her own film. Yeah, she was clearly going to be the most powerful Avenger. And yeah, her character seemed pretty awesome but we were still skeptical.

We came away from Captain Marvel liking Carol Danvers but we weren’t entirely convinced. That changed after Endgame. Seeing her interact with our favorites heroes and Thanos, loving her new hairdo and outfit, we were changed. Suddenly, Captain Marvel lived up to the hype and honestly, we couldn’t be happier.

My sister, as an artist, LOVES drawing Captain Marvel. Whether it be a manga revision of the character or simply giving Captain Marvel a new look, Captain Marvel has become one of my sister’s favorite things to draw. And now she’s drawn yet another masterpiece. Check it out.

Carefree Captain Marvel

You have no idea how much I love this picture! Brie Larson’s smile is caught with such perfection, the hair looks amazing, the colors of the suit is amplified with just enough gusto to make this piece truly stand out. I’ve shared a lot of beautiful pieces that my sister has drawn but this, hands down, is one of my personal favorites.

Here’s a Fascinating Twist on ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ Vanity Fair Covers

The end of May was a pretty exciting time for Star Wars fans as Vanity Fair released a tantalizing issue focusing on the highly-anticipated Skywalker saga finale. We got our first look at new characters featured in this upcoming Star Wars movie, new aliens and planets, and an idea of what to expect from the film.

My sister and I were clearly ecstatic about the issue but, as always, my sister takes her excitement and converts that joy into some truly fascinating art and that’s what she did these covers. Here they are.

And the hair! AMAZING! Continue reading Here’s a Fascinating Twist on ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ Vanity Fair Covers

My Sister Draws a Stunning Piece of Art Inspired by Live-Action ‘Mulan’

Yesterday a teaser trailer for the live-action remake of Mulan was released and it was met with instant recognition. There was joy, there was outrage, but most importantly, there was definite intrigue about the next remake of a Disney classic.

Inspired by the trailer yesterday my sister drew a lovely piece of art celebrating the highly-anticipated movie. Here it is.

Isn’t that beautiful?

When I saw this yesterday it’s safe to say that my jaw dropped to the floor. The bold red is captivating, the swoosh of color flows so smoothly. It almost feels as if the red represents the bloody reality of the war that Mulan will have to face and yet she stands solid in this time of battle ready for whatever may come.

I love it! In fact, I love it so much that I had to share it with you. 🙂

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a magnificent day.

Gender-Swapped Captain Marvel

Have you ever seen a movie character that you like a lot and wondered what they would like if their gender was swapped? Well, my sister and I have begun a new project where we do exactly that; genderswap some of our favorite Marvel and Star Wars characters.

The first Marvel hero to play part in this series will be yours truly, Captain Marvel. I am SO excited to show you the male version of this fantastic heroine. Enjoy!

This is simply amazing! Captain Marvel is such a cool superhero and to see this version of the character is very interesting and very awesome indeed.

A Fanmade Character Poster for Admiral Sterk

For those of you who didn’t read My Version of The Last Jedi Admiral Sterk is a brand new character that I created as a sort of Vice Admiral Holdo replacement. I love Holdo, don’t get me wrong, but I wanted a character who I simply felt would be…cooler.

Sterk ended up surviving My Version of The Last Jedi and so because she is a major character in my story there was no way she wasn’t going to have her own character poster. So, behold Admiral Sterk’s character poster.

This poster is absolutely stunning. I love it because it’s brighter than the previous three posters and yet it’s totally similar at the same time. I love the light of the rising sun, I love the blue to represent the sky, all in all, I just love everything about this poster.

Oh, I’m getting so giddy looking at these posters because they’re so darn pretty.

I can’t wait to share with you all another fun character poster tomorrow.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day. May the Force be with you.

A Beautiful Picture

My younger sister is a wonderful artist. She’s been an artist all her life. She took our toys when we were children and drew all over them to make them look different. She cut her Barbie doll’s hair to give her a new hairstyle (that doll actually ended up looking cooler.) And together we used to take take clay and make our Star Wars toys new outfits (particularly Padme Amidala.) Like I said, she’s an artist, and she is incredible.

She took a simple photo of me and remastered it to look like this! I couldn’t believe my eyes. She captured everything that I love and put it all into one stunning picture that I couldn’t be more proud of.

She’s pretty much the best little sister any sibling could ever have and I just wanted to share her gift to me with all of you.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day.
