As Tickets for ‘Eternals’ Go on Sale Here Are Three New Posters

I’m not one to get prematurely excited for a film that hasn’t even come out yet but I am beyond pumped for Marvel’s latest film, Eternals, which features one of the most diverse casts of any superhero flick and will most likely usher in a new Era of MCU movies.

Now it’s been announced that tickets are on sale and they’re going fast so make sure you check out your local theater to reserve your preferred seats before they’re gone. Along with that surprise announcement more posters for the film were released. Enjoy!

Sometimes movie posters can be disappointing but these posters (and every poster/magazine cover) that have been made for this movie are probably the best in the MCU. Absolutely outstanding.

I’ve Got My Tickets for ’Dune’ and Now I’m Starting To Get Excited for This Movie

Yep. I’ve got my IMAX tickets for Dune in a couple of weeks and it’s just starting to kind of dawn on me…I’ve got tickets for Dune!

I’ve been waiting for this movie since it was delayed last year and now I’m mere weeks away from seeing the film for myself. Last year I watched the original Dune movie from the 80s’ and even though its graphics were dated and the story was a bit hard to follow or just felt rushed I understood how amazing this story could be.

Now, Denis Villeneuve has brought it upon himself to bring this epic story to life, in IMAX, with a stellar cast, and I am pumped.

The overall consensus from the critics has been that Dune is a visually enthralling masterpiece but its story drags and feels more like a prologue than an actual concise film, which makes sense considering its the first part of a two-part story. The consensus from casual viewers though is that this is an incredible movie; the most powerful film since The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars which sounds ludicrous but very well may be true.

All in all, in roughly two weeks I get to find out for myself. 😆

‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Gets a New Poster Ahead of its Red Carpet Premiere

With every day that passes we get closer and closer to the premiere of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Just to put in perspective how close we are to seeing this film on the big screen, we only have two more episodes of What If…? to watch before it comes out. That, alone, is ridiculously exciting!

Tonight, the Red Carpet Premiere is taking place in Los Angeles and it will be available to watch Live on Youtube at 8:45pmET/5:45pmPT and I am totally watching. I haven’t been this excited for a Red Carpet Premiere since The Rise of Skywalker so, that just gives you a clue of how excited I am to see this movie.

In the meantime, here’s the IMAX poster for the film.

It’s a beautiful poster, of course, but my eyes are immediately drawn to THE DRAGONS! I mean, dragons in Marvel? Let’s go!

Did I mention that I’m excited for this movie?

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.

I’m About to Go Watch ‘Snake Eyes’!

Yes, I know. Totally random…but I’m going to see Snake Eyes today. I’ll be the first to tell you that I wasn’t excited to see this movie. In fact, I remember ranting about Henry Golding playing the title character. Then I went to watch Black Widow. Snake Eyes was one of the trailers and as it played I found myself having second thoughts.

Wait, Is G.I. Joe Already Planning A Snake Eyes Follow-Up? - CINEMABLEND

The movie actually looked entertaining in a fun summer action movie way and now, two weeks later, I’m about to go see Snake Eyes with my family. I’m actually kind of excited. Maybe the movie will be bad, maybe it’ll be good, maybe it’ll be better than expected like Transformers: Age of Extinction. I can’t wait to share my thoughts with you all in the coming hours.

I’m Seeing ‘A Quiet Place: Part II’ Today!

Three years ago, A Quiet Place hit theaters and it reinvigorated the sci-fi/horror genre in a way most movies of the same genre can’t. Boasting an impressive 96% score on Rotten Tomatoes, A Quiet Place was practically a perfect movie from start to finish, invoking real emotion, real fear, and some real jump scares. But the best thing about A Quiet Place was that it wasn’t trying to be scary. It just was.

When I watched it those years ago the ambiguous ending left me confused. But when I heard there was going to be a sequel, helmed once again by John Krasinski who would return for directing and writing, I just knew it was going to be special again. Sure enough, I saw the trailers and it looked like Krasinski was going the classic Aliens route by turning up the action notch rather than keeping the story simple and isolated.

Now, today, I’m finally getting a chance to watch A Quiet Place: Part II and I am so excited!

I’m fully vaccinated so even though I have gone to see films in a movie theater while the pandemic was still wildly active (six times, I might add) I always felt wary. Specifically eating my popcorn in the auditorium. Now, I can eat my popcorn and candy and feel totally comfortable and I. Am. Ready!

Later on today I’ll share my spoiler-free review. Until then, I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day.

I Watched Every ‘Lord of the Rings’ Movie In IMAX!

Ever since I first started watching movies in IMAX I’ve been wanting to see what I feel is the greatest movie trilogy in this format. This February that dream finally came true; The Lord of the Rings was coming back to theaters in IMAX.

Over the course of four weeks, we watched each movie and I was absolutely blown away by each movie but last night, The Return of the King left me stunned, crying, and overwhelmed.

I knew the epic finale would be just that, epic, but I still didn’t quite realize just how incredible it would actually be. Of course, I personally prefer the extended edition because it fills in so many gaps in the movie but that didn’t matter. The battle sequences were out of this world, the Ride of Rohirrim scene is still one of the best in movie history, and the Olyphants. Just…wow!!!!

Peter Jackson may not make great movies anymore but he did his work. This trilogy, made in the 2000s’, still looks better than pretty much every movie since then. The CGI still holds up y’all!

I’m just…I can’t even begin to fully express how much I loved watching these movies in IMAX but I can say this…these truly are the greatest movies ever made because honestly, it almost seems magical itself that these films turned out as great as they did.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.
