Ora ran as fast as she could. Even so, something deep inside was telling her that she wasn’t moving quickly enough.
Your father is in danger, the Force seemed to whisper in her ear.
She shook her head. No, she thought to herself. No.
And yet, the image showing her holding her dying father in her arms had been shown to her twice. She wanted to believe it was the dark side taunting her to want to go to the dark side but there was a truth to both of the visions that made her heart pound in her chest.
She exited the chamber, her new lightsaber blazing blue in the darkness. The sight before her sent sorrow coursing through her in jarring pangs. Continue reading Episode X: The Reckoning: Chapter Forty-Seven
The last thing Maz Kanata saw was a face in the stars as she, Rey, Ben Solo, and the teenagers were flying toward their mission. Rey screamed for her to get them out of hyperspace and as she pulled back on the lever everything went black.
When her eyes reopened she was lying on a cold floor. She sat up and noticed that she was in a small ship the size of an escape pod. In fact, it probably was an escape pod.
She put a hand to her throbbing head.
“Where am I?” Continue reading Episode X: The Reckoning: Chapter Twenty-Four
The first three parts of this series have been fascinating and now I’m very interested in seeing where Chapters 10-12 will take me. Let’s see what happens next.
Chapter 10 takes us through the motions of Rose and Finn’s first interaction on the Raddus. We are given more detail to Rose’s side of the story and how she reacted to losing her sister mixed with her very blatant awe for meeting The Finn for the first time. Of course, this awe is shortlived after she realizes he was trying to jump ship.
This is when a grumpier version of the character that we didn’t get to see in the actual movie is introduced. Continue reading Revisiting The Last Jedi: Part 4
Ora didn’t know where she was going and the diminutive orange lady named Maz Kanata wouldn’t tell her. She could only sit in the passenger seat of the small silver and orange craft hoping she wasn’t being taken to The Whisper.
Nervous butterflies fluttered in her stomach as she imagined walking toward a fortress, her purple lightsaber ignited and her destiny, good or bad, awaiting her. Was this to be her fate? A secret execution.
Ora could not stop thinking of her mother’s face as they had been forced to part ways. Rey had tried to put on a brave face but she seemed mortified. What did she know that Ora didn’t and what would make her so scared? Even her father had regarded with a silent farewell as if he may never see her again.
‘What is going on?’ she wanted to scream to the universe but she refrained from doing so, as it would most likely make her look insane.
She looked over at Maz who was piloting the vessel. “Um, where are we going again?”
“An ancient world. A place strong with the Force,” Maz looked at her with those all-knowing beady black eyes, “the light and the dark.”

Finding Maz Kanata
Ora’s eyes were closed as she napped in the cockpit of her father’s ship. And then she felt the patented lurch of zooming out of hyperspace. Her eyes opened and she found herself looking at a massive ship hovering in space. The ship was extraordinary, lined with decks encapsulated in glass barriers to protect the individuals and bedazzled in colorful lights that sent the vessel into a dazzling spectacle.
“What is that?” Ora asked, standing and leaning forward to gawk at the incredible structure.
“It’s a cruise,” Ben began. “These luxury vessels started popping up after HER rule, giving joy to the worst scum in the galaxy.”
They flew around the cruise that floated by like a slow-moving beast, revealing two gigantic asteroids that were tethered by bridges covered in lights. Atop the asteroids sat two dazzling cities twinkling with golden lights. It was Badaran City.

The Whisper Arrives
The Battle of New Alderaan was heating up as the First Order broke through the planet’s shields, descending their advance on the Resistance.
Inhabitants of the city were trapped, forced to watch as their beloved city was bombarded by the terrible anger of the First Order. Resistance cruisers and First Order Star Destroyers were duking it out while TIE fighters and X-Wings zipped by overhead in heated dogfights. First Order Stormtroopers were marching through the streets but they confronted a prepared army of Xipher warriors with their young Warden leading the charge, rebel stormtroopers led by Finn, a squadron of feisty mechanics helmed by Rose took their skills to the test as they attacked the First Order with all sorts of lethal contraptions of course, and finally Commander Chewbacca and his unit of Wookie warriors.
The war was in full swing and neither army could seem to defeat the other. Poe Dameron swooped by in his black-and-orange X-Wing, BB-8 beeping frantically as three TIE fighters chased after him.
