My Excitement for the Future: Doctor Strange

2021 is here and there’s a lot to be excited about but mainly, I’m thrilled to be returning to the storylines of so many characters and franchises in the coming months. I’m starting a new series featuring each of my favorite characters from different franchises and what I’m most excited to see with them. So, I decided to start this series with none other than my favorite superhero in the MCU, Doctor Strange.

If you had told me five years ago that Doctor Strange would end up becoming my favorite MCU superhero I wouldn’t have believed it but it became a fact after Infinity War.

We got to see him as the awesome Sorcerer Supreme that he is, handling business and taking on Thanos by himself with one of the most awe-inducing fight scenes in the MCU, no matter how short it is.

Now it seems that the magical doctor will be playing an even bigger role in the MCU moving forward. There’s already been confirmation that Doctor Strange will appear in WandaVision which makes sense considering that the Disney+ series has already been confirmed to tie into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. But that’s not even all!

Spider-Man 3 will feature Doctor Strange in a mentor-like role to Peter Parker in the similar vein to Tony Stark and Nick Fury’s mentor-like roles in both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far from Home. You have no idea how excited I am about this.
