Guess Who Should Star in ‘Rangers of the New Republic’?

There have been rumors that Cara Dune would end up getting her own spin-off series and it seems like she will with Rangers of the New Republic but I just realized another fabulous character that would make a fine addition to the series; Wedge Antilles.

In the Aftermath Trilogy we learn that Wedge plays a large role in taking down the Galactic Empire during the Battle of Jakku. Following the Battle of Jakku we know that he is a flight instructor on Hosnian Prime and that he eventually gets married to Temmin “Snap” Wexley’s mother Kare Kun where they settle on the planet Akiva until the battle between the Resistance and the First Order (hence that ridiculous cameo in The Rise of Skywalker.)

But what if we can fill in a bit of those gaps and make him a key figure in the Rangers of the New Republic series? He’s been a beloved Star Wars character since his induction in 1977’s A New Hope. Why wouldn’t Favreau and Filoni get a chance to expand his storyline in a series that is destined to be pretty cool?

What do you think? Do you see want to see Wedge Antilles in Rangers of the New Republic? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

However, it was the other seven announcements that shattered the internet and left my brain reeling with absolute shock. So, with that being said, let’s take a look at these new projects.
