The Official Trailer for ‘Dune’ Is Here!

It’s getting closer. Dune‘s time is almost upon us and I know for a fact it’s going to be one of the biggest events of the year. The official trailer dropped today and here’s a note; if you’d rather stay in the dark about the story then I really would refrain from watching this trailer because it shows a lot. But nevertheless, here’s the official trailer for Dune.

Epic. That’s all I can think when I see this trailer. It’s going to be an epic experience in IMAX. One that will remain in my heart for years to come.

I’m glad I watched the old Dune movie from 1984 because I can actually look at this and see things that I recognize which is really exciting, to be honest. This looks like a faithful reboot of a story that deserves to be seen on the big screen these days.

The hype is real.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.

The Trailer for ‘Dune’ Is NIIIIICE

Okay, first off I’d like to announce that I’m one of those people who has no idea about Dune‘s story. I’ve managed to garner a bit of an idea of what is going on in this film through my father’s small details of the movie and the synopsis provided but besides that…I’m in the dark.

Thankfully, this three-minute-long trailer still didn’t give me an idea of what this new (and very epic looking) story is about and I am ready for it. Here’s the trailer.

‘Mission: Impossible 7’ Is Shaping Up to Be a Compelling Sequel

Two years ago I was lucky enough to see the best action film ever made. Yes, I said it! That movie was Mission: Impossible-Fallout.

I’ve seen a lot of action movies over the years but none had ever been as exhilarating as this movie. With suspenseful storytelling literally from beginning to end, Fallout excelled all of my wildest expectations. Last year I began to research the upcoming Mission: Impossible sequel, waiting for any news about the highly-anticipated seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise. For the last few months, the cast has begun to grow and now even more light has been shed on the upcoming action masterpiece.

In a recent interview, writer/director Christopher McQuarrie obliged that MI 7 will feature not one, not two, but THREE! “obscene” stunts that Tom Cruise will have to perform in this next movie. In fact, he went further to say these stunts made the helicopter stunt in MI-Fallout look like “child’s play.” What?!

That already sounds impressive enough as it is but as we grow closer to filming beginning for the film, the cast has begun to coalesce.

Simon Pegg is returning as Cruise’s loyal compatriot, Benji, and Henry Czerny, who portrayed Eugene Kittridge in the first Mission: Impossible film is also set to return. Ving Rhames’ Luther Stickell is currently questionable to return but the cast isn’t complete yet.

A couple of newcomers to join the cast are Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Days of Future Past, Mad Max: Fury Road) and Shea Whigham (American Hustle) who will play currently undisclosed roles. But what’s the most exciting and impressive is that it appears this next Mission: Impossible movie will feature women even more prominently than previous installments. ‘Doctor Sleep’ Looks More Like a Scary Thriller Than a Horror Movie

In case you don’t know the incredible significance of this story, Doctor Sleep is Stephen King’s follow-up novel to a horror classic, The Shining, and Warner Bros. has adapted that story, which focuses on a grown-up Danny Torrance, and turned it into a movie.

While the first teaser had me silent in mute horror (well, really suspense) this trailer wasn’t nearly as scary but that doesn’t take away from the trailer’s quality because it actually was pretty good.

The movie takes the story left behind by The Shining and modernizes it, adding more women, good and bad, to the equation and revisiting the mansion that made the first film so scary. This trailer was so intriguing in the fact that I actually kind of want to see this movie. And even though I know it will be scary, with plenty of jump scares along the way, I have a feeling this film could turn out to be a worthy sequel to one of the greatest horror movies of all time.

Here’s a poster for the movie.

That’s somewhat creepy looking…

The ‘Dune’ Reboot Is Stacked to the Rafters With Talent

I’ve never watched Dune from the 80s’ but I’ve heard that it’s a pretty good movie. And an old good movie can’t go dormant for very long before it becomes rebooted. Well, Dune is the next classic film in line that is being refashioned for modern audiences and I have to say, I’m excited.

Over the past week the cast for this film has become more and more tantalizing and now I’m brimming with intrigue for this film. Just look at this cast!
