Yeah, San Diego Comic-Con was a few weeks ago but I’m still excited about the awesome trailers that were released. So, for all of you who may not have seen the trailers or want a quick reminder of the movies and tv shows to look forward to, here they are.
The Witcher was first a novel, then a game, and finally, its become a live-action series on Netflix starring Henry Cavill and the first teaser trailer dropped during San Diego Comic-Con. I saw it and I was definitely impressed. Fantasy shows are hard to make because of the budget needed to make that show look convincing. The Witcher looks like a lot of money has been utilized to make this show as good as it can possibly be and I’m glad to see that.
The only thing I found lacking in this teaser was The Witcher himself. This show is supposed to be about him and yet it seemed to focus more on the characters surrounding him. But let me not judge that as a fault considering that I don’t even know The Witcher story. Continue reading Recapping the Best Trailers from San Diego Comic-Con
A couple of weeks ago during the Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con, there were plenty of announcements to get excited about for the upcoming Phase 4 and Phase 5 of the MCU. We learned more about Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings, and Eternals, we learned that sequels in the work, and we discovered that the Fantastic Four, the Mutants, and Blade would be making their debut in the MCU in several years. It was a lot to take in. So much in fact that we almost forgot about two sequels that weren’t announced for a couple of franchises that have become very dear to my heart. That, of course, is the announcement of more Ant-Man and Spider-Man movies.
Every hero to have a film in the MCU has had a sequel that comes out two-three years after their previous film. All of course except for Doctor Strange whose sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, is coming out five! years after his debut film in 2016, Doctor Strange. But we didn’t mind because he played such a prominent role in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame and even had a little nod-and-a-wink role in Thor: Ragnarok.
Ant-Man and Spider-Man, however, may not be so lucky.
While it was rumored that Spider-Man would get a sequel announcement at San Diego Comic-Con that didn’t end up happening and nothing was even spoken about an Ant-Man sequel. Once I realized this I have to admit, I was bummed. Continue reading Are the Ant-Man and Spider-Man Franchises In Trouble?
Waking up this Sunday morning my head is still throbbing with a slight headache from all of the exciting news last night from Marvel Studios. It was said there was going to be a panel depicting what’s next for Phase 4 of the MCU, I knew there was going to be some information about the upcoming Black Widow movie and Eternals film but…I was not expecting what would transpire next.
Today, I’m recapping the mind-blowing event last night. You may have been like me, refreshing the Twitter and following along with the live tweets and updates on the websites. If not, prepare for your mind to be blown! Enjoy.
The First Eleven Years
The panel began with a giant montage celebrating the first eleven years of the MCU. Avengers: Endgame spearheaded the end of the montage with Thanos saying, “I am inevitable” followed by Tony Stark’s already-iconic response, “And I am Iron Man.” A few more clips of Endgame were shown before the logo for the first three phases of the MCU was released, which you can see in the picture above. The Infinity Saga. Isn’t it beautiful?
After that, the real news commenced. Continue reading Recapping the Incredible Marvel Studios Hall H Panel at San Diego Comic-Con
I’m not a huge Star Trek fan. Not in the slightest. But one Star Trek show I do occasionally love to watch is Star Trek: The Next Generation. Patrick Stewart’s Captain Picard is a leader I’d follow across the galaxy and with a lovable cast of characters the show manages to truly delight.
The trailer for the new Star Trek obsession coming to CBS All Access, Star Trek: Picard, came out today and I have to admit, I am fascinated. It looks really, really good. And Data’s back! Woo!
It’s San Diego Comic-Con week and the trailers for the future’s biggest hits are dropping left and right. Because this is Throwback Friday day, I thought it would be so much fun to look back on what exciting movie trailers dropped last year. Enjoy!
As you may know, SDCC has arrived and debuted movie and television news for the past weekend. This is always the most exciting time of the year for me because there is so much news that arrives surrounding films that I’m eager to hear about. Well, yesterday Warner Bros. debuted a bunch of trailers to get us excited for their movies arriving either later this year or early next year and I’m here to share them with you all. Enjoy!
Godzilla: King of the Monsters
If you were at all bummed out by that eensy-weensy sneak peek of Godzilla: King of the Monsters that was revealed the other day well this official trailer was released yesterday and I have to say, it definitely looks decent. I watched Godzilla four years ago thinking it was going to be positively awesome and it was very disappointing indeed. I mean, it was absolutely horrendous, which was a bummer because I’ve always wanted to see a really good, modern Godzilla movie.
Well, this film definitely looks like it’ll be better than that movie as it clearly shows more monsters and plenty of jaw-dropping destruction that’ll look amazing in IMAX. I’m pretty sure the story will be sub par but the action will probably be worth the admission fee and that’s enough to make me want to see this movie.

The Rise of Skywalker is arriving in less than a year and LucasFilm is moving full speed ahead in beginning marketing for this imminently incredible Skywalker saga finale. It’s been rumored for months now that a new stormtrooper would be making its debut in this film and now that stormtrooper has finally arrived for us to look at in full detail.
Mind you, the photos surrounding this stormtrooper is through marketing for the film rather than in motion in the actual movie but it’s still a chance to see this new First Order soldier. EXCITING!
Before I show you what it looks like this is what it’s called: the Sith Trooper. Continue reading A New Stormtrooper Has Been Revealed for ‘The Rise of Skywalker’
