Recapping the Best Trailers from San Diego Comic-Con

Yeah, San Diego Comic-Con was a few weeks ago but I’m still excited about the awesome trailers that were released. So, for all of you who may not have seen the trailers or want a quick reminder of the movies and tv shows to look forward to, here they are.

The Witcher

The Witcher was first a novel, then a game, and finally, its become a live-action series on Netflix starring Henry Cavill and the first teaser trailer dropped during San Diego Comic-Con. I saw it and I was definitely impressed. Fantasy shows are hard to make because of the budget needed to make that show look convincing. The Witcher looks like a lot of money has been utilized to make this show as good as it can possibly be and I’m glad to see that.

The only thing I found lacking in this teaser was The Witcher himself. This show is supposed to be about him and yet it seemed to focus more on the characters surrounding him. ‘Star Trek: Picard’

I’m not a huge Star Trek fan. Not in the slightest. But one Star Trek show I do occasionally love to watch is Star Trek: The Next Generation. Patrick Stewart’s Captain Picard is a leader I’d follow across the galaxy and with a lovable cast of characters the show manages to truly delight.

The trailer for the new Star Trek obsession coming to CBS All Access, Star Trek: Picard, came out today and I have to admit, I am fascinated. It looks really, really good. And Data’s back! Woo!
