It’s not official yet but the rumors are spreading that Storm is set to make an appearance in Black Panther 2. This is the first time such rumors have begun to spread and I am ecstatic.
Will we get an official announcement in the coming months or even weeks? I sure hope so!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day.
With the MCU moving to new horizons for Phase 4 and Disney acquiring Fox it’s inevitable that we’ll see the X-Men in the near future. In fact, technically the X-Men have already graced their presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver’s role in the franchise. How the X-Men will join the fray and which new actors will play these iconic characters is still a mystery but it’s an exciting mystery nonetheless.
And that’s why today, for this Throwback Friday post, I’m sharing with you all of the X-Men characters I’m most excited to see make their presence known in the MCU. Enjoy!
I didn’t realize how cool Magneto was until my most recent viewing of X-Men: Days of Future Past. It was then that I realized how awesome this character actually was. I think Magneto would be such an epic character in an MCU setting and I’m hoping Kevin Feige is thinking the same as me. The X-Men are an awesome array of unique characters with incredible abilities. It’s only until recently that I’ve begun to actually care and pay attention to the different heroes and I have to say, they’re pretty awesome. Their movies aren’t as great or easy to follow (timeline-wise) as the MCU movies but if you like superheroes there are tons of heroes to get behind in this franchise. With this many cool characters to enjoy there will always be debate of who’s the best of the X-Men. And that’s why they are the topic of this week’s segment of Who’s Your Favorite? Here are the characters.
(My X-Men knowledge is limited so I will be listing the mainstream characters that I know.)
Cyclops has always been a cool character because of his interesting eye beam ability and the same can still be said from this most recent rendition of the character. While I don’t know much about the X-Men I knew who Cyclops was in my younger age and that shows the impact this hero had on me as a child.
Mystique is easily one of the coolest concepts of a character in the superhero world. The fact that she’s this shape-shifting alien-ish sort of being is remarkable awesome and it’s what makes her so cool. She’s also a great fighter as well. All in all, Mystique is pretty cool.

The last time I wrote a post displaying the X-Men I wanted to see in the MCU Disney had just bought Fox. Since then I’ve watched X-Men: Days of Future Past and so I have a greater idea of the X-Men I like and the ones I don’t care so much for. So, on that note, here’s an updated version of the X-Men I want to see in the MCU.
I didn’t realize how cool Magneto was until my recent viewing of Days of Future Past. Then I realized how awesome this character actually was. I think Magneto would be positively epic in a MCU setting and I’m hoping Kevin Feige is thinking the same as me.
First of all, if you may not know (I just found this out too) Jean Grey, in one of those Marvel comics, met the Guardians of the Galaxy. It was a crossover event between the Guardians and the X-Men and so they had to fight together to stop some powerful villain (I don’t know who that was.) So that can be put into context.
Secondly, she’s really cool. Before I knew what the X-Men were I knew Jean Grey and I think she would be a fantastic heroine to join the MCU.

Since Disney bought Fox my mind has been racing with the possibilities of a X-Men/Avengers crossover and even though that might not completely come to fruition I definitely think that Marvel Studios should take this opportunity to do what they did with Spider-Man and bring some awesome X-Men superheroes to the MCU. But which X-Men characters? While I don’t know much about the X-Men there are a few characters that I really do like and that I think would be very cool additions to the MCU. I’m going to list them here and I hope you enjoy!
I don’t know much about Beast but I do know this, he’s always been one of my favorite X-Men characters. His skills are very, very impressive and I think it would be really interesting to see this character become part of the MCU. I mean, can you imagine Spider-Man or Black Panther conversing with this incredibly unique looking character? It would definitely be interesting to watch. And another thing that makes this so perfect is that in certain comic books he becomes part of The Avengers so that’s just another excuse to bring him into the MCU.
Jean Grey is one of the most prominent X-Men characters (I know this because even though I don’t know anything about the X-Men I know who Jean Grey is) and I think it would be rather exciting to bring her to the MCU. Now, some of her abilities are rather similar to Scarlet Witch so that might not be a great idea to bring her into the fold but I think it would still be awesome to see her fighting alongside The Avengers.

The Avengers-era is quickly coming to an end and that means the people behind the Marvel machine have to come up with new ideas to keep the Marvel movies cranking out every year while preventing the franchise from becoming stale to moviegoers. Well, now that Disney has bought Fox it’s inevitable that some of Fox’s assets will definitely be embraced in the MCU such as the X-Men. Ever since the first Avengers film I have hoped and dreamed for the moguls behind Marvel Studios to bring their superhero expertise to that side of the superhero world.
I’ve only watched a couple of X-Men films (X-Men: Days of Future Past and Logan) and I found both of them to be very dry and boring. I preferred Days of Future Past over Logan because at least it was an interesting story and it had me engaged whereas Logan was simply a giant, never-ending love letter to Hugh Jackman’s retiring of the mantel, Wolverine.
Now that Disney has bought Fox however I foresee some great ideas that could be brought to the MCU and I’m here to share them with you. Enjoy!
1. The Fantastic Four
As a child I absolutely loved the Fantastic Four. They were the ultimate superheroes and I loved their first movie. A few years ago they tried to make another version of the quadruple super team and it was an utter flop. Now the MCU has taken over Fox and one of the assets I would love to see them utilize would be the Fantastic Four.
One of the reasons why these Marvel films have been able to continue on for ten years straight is because of the actors they’ve gotten for the roles. Robert Downey Jr. embodied Iron Man so well I can’t imagine anyone else in the role. Chris Evans is Captain America. They got Benedict Cumberbatch to play Doctor Strange?! Genius The list could go on and on but you get the point. Marvel’s casting has been on point in every film they’ve made so far (besides The Incredible Hulk but that’s a whole other story.)
I would love to see what the new Marvel version of the Fantastic Four would look like because I know for a fact it would be incredible. And imagining them alongside superheroes such as Doctor Strange or Black Panther sounds even more amazing.
