I’ve vaguely heard about this film before but I had never seen it until yesterday. I have to say, it was pretty enjoyable. Available to watch on Disney+, Sister Act is yet another movie starring Whoopie Goldberg that I’ve seen that I enjoyed. She’s a great actress and this film only displayed that again in clear abundance.
And, great news, they’re making a Sister Act 3 exclusively for Disney+. I guess it was great timing to see this film for the first time.
I’m giving this movie a solid 90 out of 100 and 4 out of 5 stars. It’s not perfect but it was enjoyable.
