Which ‘Star Wars’ Movie Do You Like To Watch With Your Mother?

It’s Mother’s Day and that means it’s of course time to celebrate the wonderful women in our lives; our mothers. On a beautiful holiday such as this, it’s fun to watch a good movie with our mothers and so, for this week’s topic of Who’s Your Favorite?, I’m asking you all which Star Wars movie do you enjoy watching with your mother?

1. The Phantom Menace

The Phantom Menace is a fun film filled with adventure. It’s also one of the few Star Wars movies to have a mother as part of the story which is, of course, Shmi. Her encouragement for Anakin is heartwarming and clearly, on Mother’s Day, one of the highlights of the film.

2. Attack of the Clones

Want to watch something a little more romantic with your mother? Pop in Attack of the Clones and you’ll get romance in abundance as this film centers around Anakin and Padme’s infamous love story, mixed with the incredible action scenes, turning this into a good film for any casual viewer.

What Was Your Favorite Part of ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ Teaser?

The teaser for The Rise of Skywalker came out two days ago and it was amazing, wowing fans left and right with its stunning clips, it’s chill-inducing music, and that jaw-dropping return of the iconic Emperor Palpatine. There were so many incredible moments in this teaser that I know it’s going to be tough trying to pick a favorite part but I’ll list some of the best moments. Enjoy!

Seeing Rey Again

The last time we saw Rey she was on the Millennium Falcon with Leia holding the broken halves of Luke’s lightsaber. Now she returns, with that same lightsaber in her hand, preparing for her imminent showdown with her archnemesis, Kylo Ren.

Rey’s power has doubled since last we saw her and it is fully displayed in this brilliant moment from the trailer as Rey flips over Kylo’s ship. Wow, I can’t wait to see this clip play out.

Which ‘Star Wars’ Character Has Your Favorite Lightsaber?

Lightsabers. They are some of the coolest creations ever made. They come in all sorts of beautiful colors, each character’s lightsaber hilt is entirely different, and those that wield these ancient weapons are equipped with the power of the Force, making the laser swords all the more awesome.

That’s why for today’s Who’s Your Favorite? segment I’m tackling the topic of lightsabers. Enjoy! 🙂

(I will be focusing this post on all only the most popular lightsaber-wielding characters, otherwise, we’d be here all day.)

Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka Tano is one of the few characters who wield two lightsabers in battle, making her one of the most unique characters in the franchise.

But years after her decision to leave the Jedi Order she returned with new lightsabers in tow. The blades were now white, highlighting her allegiance to neither the light nor the dark. And the hilts are very polished looking. Almost-stormtrooper-like. Cool.

Which Character Has the Saddest Death in ‘Rogue One’?

For Star Wars fans we all know how the movies usually role. There may be some heartbreak every once in the blue moon but ultimately there’s a happy ending right? Rogue One changed that narrative big time.

Do you remember sitting in the movie theater for the first time in utter shock as every hero in the film was efficiently killed off in the last eighteen minutes of the movies? It was pretty remarkable. After K-2SO’s death I knew anything was possible (because a droid had never perished in the franchise before) and sure enough, well, you know the rest.

Rogue One is, in part, a devastating movie because these characters managed to worm their way into our hearts in the most delightful ways. The diverse cast of characters gave everyone someone to cheer for. For me, my favorite character was Cassian. I knew he was pretty much doomed but it was still heartbreaking when he died. In fact, I think I cried for a year straight whenever I watched this movie. So yeah, Rogue One may be one the best Star Wars film ever made but it’s also one of the saddest leading to this week’s question for Who’s Your Favorite (or in this case, Which is the Saddest?) Enjoy!
