Since Disney bought Fox my mind has been racing with the possibilities of a X-Men/Avengers crossover and even though that might not completely come to fruition I definitely think that Marvel Studios should take this opportunity to do what they did with Spider-Man and bring some awesome X-Men superheroes to the MCU. But which X-Men characters? While I don’t know much about the X-Men there are a few characters that I really do like and that I think would be very cool additions to the MCU. I’m going to list them here and I hope you enjoy!
I don’t know much about Beast but I do know this, he’s always been one of my favorite X-Men characters. His skills are very, very impressive and I think it would be really interesting to see this character become part of the MCU. I mean, can you imagine Spider-Man or Black Panther conversing with this incredibly unique looking character? It would definitely be interesting to watch. And another thing that makes this so perfect is that in certain comic books he becomes part of The Avengers so that’s just another excuse to bring him into the MCU.
Jean Grey is one of the most prominent X-Men characters (I know this because even though I don’t know anything about the X-Men I know who Jean Grey is) and I think it would be rather exciting to bring her to the MCU. Now, some of her abilities are rather similar to Scarlet Witch so that might not be a great idea to bring her into the fold but I think it would still be awesome to see her fighting alongside The Avengers.

The Avengers-era is quickly coming to an end and that means the people behind the Marvel machine have to come up with new ideas to keep the Marvel movies cranking out every year while preventing the franchise from becoming stale to moviegoers. Well, now that Disney has bought Fox it’s inevitable that some of Fox’s assets will definitely be embraced in the MCU such as the X-Men. Ever since the first Avengers film I have hoped and dreamed for the moguls behind Marvel Studios to bring their superhero expertise to that side of the superhero world.
I’ve only watched a couple of X-Men films (X-Men: Days of Future Past and Logan) and I found both of them to be very dry and boring. I preferred Days of Future Past over Logan because at least it was an interesting story and it had me engaged whereas Logan was simply a giant, never-ending love letter to Hugh Jackman’s retiring of the mantel, Wolverine.
Now that Disney has bought Fox however I foresee some great ideas that could be brought to the MCU and I’m here to share them with you. Enjoy!
1. The Fantastic Four
As a child I absolutely loved the Fantastic Four. They were the ultimate superheroes and I loved their first movie. A few years ago they tried to make another version of the quadruple super team and it was an utter flop. Now the MCU has taken over Fox and one of the assets I would love to see them utilize would be the Fantastic Four.
One of the reasons why these Marvel films have been able to continue on for ten years straight is because of the actors they’ve gotten for the roles. Robert Downey Jr. embodied Iron Man so well I can’t imagine anyone else in the role. Chris Evans is Captain America. They got Benedict Cumberbatch to play Doctor Strange?! Genius The list could go on and on but you get the point. Marvel’s casting has been on point in every film they’ve made so far (besides The Incredible Hulk but that’s a whole other story.)
I would love to see what the new Marvel version of the Fantastic Four would look like because I know for a fact it would be incredible. And imagining them alongside superheroes such as Doctor Strange or Black Panther sounds even more amazing.

Logan has been out on Digital and Blu-Ray for several weeks now and I’ve been waiting to finally see it. Leading up to its premiere in theaters I was excited about it. The first trailer was amazing and always gave me chills when I watched it. And then as it got closer to the movie coming out I was hoping it would be good. I didn’t end up getting to see it in the movies but I wanted to see it at home. Now, unfortunately, I had already learned that (Spoiler Alert! Do not read any further if you don’t want to know what happens in this movie) Logan ended up dying in the film which was shocking considering that Jack Hughman had been playing the character, Wolverine since I think 2000. That made me want to see the movie even more.
