The First Reactions for ‘Eternals’ Paint an Epic-but-Long New Installment in the MCU

Well, the first reactions for Eternals are in and it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Some are calling the film “epic” and “sweeping” while others are calling it “convoluted” and “10-ish minutes too long.” Unfortunately, out of all the miniature (mostly spoiler-free reviews I’ve seen) none of the critics are calling it Marvel Studios’ best film. Here are some of reactions to give you an idea of what to expect with the upcoming film.

Just reflected on the #eternals for the past hour. I loved it. The story telling is fantastic. It’s super deep. Dense. Cinematically, beautiful, stunning, gorgeous. Unlike anything Marvel has done so far. It’s funny and the action delivers. Great movie.
